Grandfather's Funeral

My grandfather on my dad's side passed away last Thursday(26/11/09) in the evening around 6pm at Pantai Medical Centre in Bangsar.

First death of a family member for me, definitely really tough and especially with exams just around the corner, it's getting crazy.

I'm sure you can forsee it's gonna be an emo post and well of course it is.

Well, I was not all that close with my grandfather but I recall many memorable moments that I shared with him , usually the times when we meet up for family gatherings.

He could speak english so that was good, and he always loved to chat with me about wrestling WWE, the wrestlers and stuff, always saying it's fake and stuff but yet he still watches it for entertainment I guess, I remember him saying he likes The Undertaker dude. His fav TV show was Mr. Bean haha, never gets bored with the same repeating episodes. and he was one of the only persons that I know who absolutely loves to watch Animal Planet, he always likes to watch the animals on TV and was always commenting on it, haha just like a child.

My cousins and I were also recalling the time when we were young we used to go to my grandparent's place in Sentul, they lived in a shophouse and my granddad would handle the provision shop downstairs, and he always allowed us to take whatever we wanted from the shop, especially the sweets haha. I think it was 5 for 20 or 25 cents, smtn like that.

The times where he would stay over when my siblings and I were much younger to babysit us when my parents were out and stuff.

and one of the most recent memories was that he was also there watching me compete in the Malaysia Beatbox Challenge in 1 Utama.

well, the thing that has hit me the most was that I never had the guts to share the gospel with him, I may have prayed now and again for his and my other relatives salvation of course, but I didn't had enough passion and drive to go all out for God. The only thing I can hope now is that his spirit man has repented and received salvation when he was in the hospital, cos what is impossible with man, is possible with God.

but then again, I don't want to live my life with anymore regrets, this has pained me so much more than all exam and other failures combined. I'm sorry to God which I had backslidden ever since I went to college, that He has remain faithful, I pray for God's strength to pull me through this, and sustain me, I want to regain the passion I once had in my Form 4 and Form 5 days, life was so different back then. God is truly real and magnificent. I also pray for the strength and perseverance to study and pass my exams in December.

Malaysia Beatbox Challenge Finals 2009

woohoo~~!! yeap the Malaysia Beatbox Challenge Semi Finals and Finals was held today at the Studio V,Rainforest, 1 Utama!

big ups to the organizer, Megat Sallehudin! 16 yrs old OK, and he actually took the initiative and effort to organize the Malaysia Beatbox Challenge even thou he's not a beatboxer.

oh and they invited back all the 16 beatboxers who participated to have a group battle ( 1 vs 1) format, split into 2 groups which was RhythmGrove and Beatmania.but there were some of them who couldn't make it and there only 11 of us who turned up.since it was an odd number, one of us which was Koujee, managed to get another opportunity to battle again haha.

felt really happy today getting to meet back all of them again, and another fun round of battling. im telling you, Malaysia's beatbox scene is really growing and is on the rise!!watch out for more fresh talents in the coming years, it's gonna be nuts!

and i feel awesomely so privleged to have battled Shawn and Shane, the Top 2, what an experience! Thank God!

and the best thing that made my day! Malaysia's Top Male and Female Beatboxers 2009 are from Subang Jaya!!! woootttt~ haha so SS right..but yeala i was unofficially declared as Malaysia's top female beatboxer by default since I was the only one who participated.

definitely looking forward for more of these in the future =D

Malaysia Beatbox Challenge 2009

yea man...i took part in the 1st Malaysia Beatbox Challenge 2009 which was held in Rainforest, 1 Utama today which was in conjunction with the Indie Youth Fest.

arrived at around 1pm, registered myself and got myself this pass! =D

a whole lot of bands performed and stuff. Joon Ming and Seh Yung performed with their band which was awesome!

basically the whole event was awesome! met the other beatboxers which was really crazy, never experienced this before, with over 10 plus beatboxers at the same place same time, ok im being jakun-ed.haha. oh btw i was the only girl who joined this competition, i hope that's a good thing haha.

there was even a random moment of the organizer emcee lady who called out who can solve the rubiks cube n Shawn went out to the front and so did I , but they only had one cube so i beatbox-ed while he played, super random haha, but still cool cos we both got a CD for that haha.

so yea, we were split into groups of 4, a total of 16 beatboxers today, so 4 groups.the idea was that the judges would choose the top 2 from each group which would then be the top 8 beatboxers battling at the quarter finals. so all of us did a showcase of a maximum of 3 minutes on stage.

concept was runner up from group 1 wld battle group 2's winner and group 1's winner would battle group 2's runner up and same goes for group 3 and 4.

so the groups line up was:

group 1 : Shazet,Mr. C, M3 and Kimsng(me)
group 2 : Shawn, DJ Coex, CDQ and Tuxbonic
group 3 : MC Rave, Shane, Loi and Rhyme
group 4 : Nobita, Koujee, Abeatc and Doomic

so yes,thank God i manage to make it through the next round as the top 2 of my group was Shazet and myself.

next round was to battle Shawn Lee, winner would go on to the next round which is the top 4,the semi finals. was supposedly 2 rounds of 1.30 mins during the 1 vs 1 battle but somehow it became 1 round of 3 mins. so Shawn went up first then my turn next.

sorry my camerawoman friend Jaclyn tengah bluring mode she didn't manage to record the first minute of Shawn's set.

Winner was Shawn! Congratz! i feel really privilleged to battle him even though i lost, he's really an awesome guy and a VERY WORTHY OPPONENT.top 10 in the world champs haha.

so the top 8 battles were:

i really had a lot of fun today meeting up with these bunch of guys. and i finally get a taste of a beatbox competition, obviously much more pressuring than a normal performance.gotta step it up!

My 1st Stand-up Comedy Gig

yea i been thinking for some time to get into stand-up comedy since i was kinda interested and especially inspired by this comedian called Jay Lamont who actually combines stand-up comedy and beatboxing, totally awesome.

so i finally decided that YES, i will give it a try and i did! performed this at the track of talents in eaglepoint puchong.it's something like an open mic night, happens every last Friday of the month. =D

Times Square Gig 2

yea got to perform at times square today for the Lions Community Service Week, with all the booths up near the main stage with the current projects of the Lions Club in KL region like the eye clinic, youth exchange, blood donation etc...and my Omega Leo Club KL Unity was involved in this as well, so yea i was invited to perform for this event!

why i say times square gig 2 is because wayyyy back in November 2005, my band,' The Octaves' performed there as well, also for a Lions club event but it was for their Peace Poster Contest.

this time it was me going solo and also did a collab with my friend, Priscilla, whose a guitarist and singer, and is just simply awesome. we did a cover of Apologize by One Republic, with her playing the guitar and singing , and me beatboxing along during the chorus. was inspired by Kristen Dela Cruz and Angie Girl from youtube to do this collab for this song.props to them really! big ups to my collab partner Priscilla for a job well done too!!

and a bagazillion thanks to my friends who came and supported me!! octaves band mates which were Wyhow, Lixian and Hui Yen, college mates which were Foon Yan, Stephanie, Aruna and Mi Yuan, really appreciate it!!

and also to my dad who was the MC for the event!

and of course God who gave me this opportunity to perform there, it was pretty unbelievable to be given another chance to perform in times square again since 2005, never thought or dreamt it , and what more, solo, definitely have come a long way since then.

the crowd was pretty supportive although they were not too loud and hyper, many thanks to my fellow leo members from KL Unity, KDU and KLCC who cheered along too.

Pulau Redang Trip

Yea...went to Pulau Redang with Eu Yang, Kah Yew, Chu Luei and Lay Peng on 15th June to 17th June for a 3 days 2 nights package in Redang Lagoon Chalet. pretty awesome trip, my 1st trip out with friends and everything went smoothly as planned without any delays and other sorts, so it was definitely satisfying and fun!

Day 1

Everyone met up at my place at 4.30am cos my dad was gonna fetch all of us to LCCT for our 7.05am flight by Air Asia...no delays thankfully and even manage to take pics of the plane while sun rise so it was pretty awesome...

Arrived at Kuala Terengganu airport around 8am and went on the van that Eu Yang booked for us to go to Merang Jetty to catch the boat to go to Pulau Redang at 9.30am... the van driver dude name is Pak Lemang or smtn...was a pretty long drive too, around 45 mins to an hour...and we even managed to see the half collasped stadium!! haha we were so excited when he pointed it out to us, I guess he must be thinking we are such babies haha.

Arrived at the jetty, paid up the package fees to one of the Redang Lagoon's staff which was good cos we didn't want to carry too much cash with us... the package includes the boat ride to and fro from the jetty to the island and back.

Boat ride was pretty long too...about 45 mins to an hour again...and Kah Yew was absolutely enjoying himself by taking SS pics of his own hand and the view of the sea outside the boat haha...it was windy and nice..

It was satisfying in a way that we actually traveled on air, land and sea all in just 3 hours!

Arrived at the island and the place is just awesome, really. the sea is so clear that you could even see right up to the bottom of it...fuyooo!

The Redang Lagoon staff dudes drove their tractor thingi to help us take our bags to the chalet while we walked on the nice white sandy beach to the chalet to check in and all...

The place is not as grand as the other luxurious resorts on the island such as Laguna, it was more of a kampung-ish feel, wooden chalet type, but it was still all good, cos just basic would do, cos we came here for the beach and not luxury right!? haha..

For me, it was a different experience cos in Redang, it's all just a stretch of resorts along the beach and it's not like other places where you can go into town and rent a car and sorts...so basically most, if not all, the resorts here provide packages including food/meals for customers cos there's no way you can go anywhere else haha..

While waiting for our rooms during our check-in...I suddenly saw familiar faces...and guess what?! I saw Gurrubren, Winston and Dinisha with their group of 15 ppl who also came to Redang Lagoon for the same package! haha such a small world...it's not that I wasn't happy seeing them, it was just a bit weird la cos I'm trying to escape ACCA a bit during the holidays but it turns out I'm seeing college mates around as well even in Redang haha...

We were just hanging around while waiting for our rooms cos it wasn't ready yet, so we took the opportunity to try out the hammocks!! I'm happy and proud to say that our chalet had the most hammocks compared to the other resorts! haha..and it was really shady too cos of the leaves of the coconut trees around...but our chalet didn't have those beach chairs where the ang mos love to lie down to sun-bath themselves...

Btw, there was also this ang mo lady at our chalet and she was alone. dunno where she's from thou, didn't manage to ask her, but really max respect to her cos she's super fit going snorkeling and all even though she's kinda old la I guess, I dunno la ok, but definitely not young la haha.

Got the keys to our rooms, side by side yay haha...us 3 girls were in room M2 while the 2 guys Eu Yang and Kah Yew were in room M3.

Left our bags and stuff in our rooms and we then proceeded to have our lunch in the open dining area which was buffet style, well actually all meals were buffet style la haha..

After lunch we went and changed to get ready for our snorkeling trip at 2.30pm...got our life jackets and snorkel masks for rental of RM20 for the whole time till we check out...

Went on the boat with everyone else and it was kinda packed.we sat outside and felt the nice breeze, we even managed to catch a few winks during the journey, it was surprisingly long, could be around half an hour? yea..

We were somewhere in the middle of the sea la when the boat stopped for our snorkelling spot, I didn't know where it was exactly since the boat dudes didn't say anything much...

And so, we went down to the sea to snorkel...it was a 1st for me, the other time where I just played around in the shallow part in Koh Samui in 2007 doesn't count la haha...especially when that was without life jacket and barely any fish...duh cos it was too shallow..

Eu Yang brought his brother's waterproof camera cover thingi so we managed to take pics underwater using that...I snorkelled for a few minutes and I started to feel extremely dizzy and sea sick so I swam back to the boat to rest...felt terrible and about to vomit but I made myself tahan all the way cos there wasn't anywhere I could vomit anyway, especially not the nice clear sea! and plus the embarassment...so I went inside where they had proper seats and rest there, felt a lil better...

Went back to the chalet, and we had a tea break...which was just some fried cucur udang or smtn dipped in chilli sauce...

After that we went on to meet Jing Jing and her boy Eng Yeou who stayed at Redang Beach Resort with also a 3 days 2 nights package but they came a day earlier on Sunday...we played beach volleyball with the volleyball that Eng Yeou brought along and also the frisbee aka blue piring that I brought along too...

It was extremely fun playing water-frisbee (oh how creative of us, xp ) cos we didn't need to run to pick up the frisbee if we dropped it, we just need to swim to get it, xp..

When it was already getting dark, we went back to our rooms to freshen up and get ready for dinner which was BBQ...thanks to Eu Yang and Kah Yew who did all the work of bbq-ing the food for all of us haha...the chicken and prawn was good...the sotong and fish was ok ok la...

After dinner, we walked along the beach to check out the other resorts and the souvenir shops...Laguna Redang had a live band which was pretty good...there were a lot of discos and karaoke going on during the night, which made the whole island really lively...but the thing was some of the speakers were so loud where even the most-probably-already-drunk dude whose singing his karaoke song out of tune is audible and disturbing even though we are FAR FAR AWAY from the resort walking past a few resorts already...it was that loud wei..

We went over the bridge thingi to Redang Reef Resort where we checked out their souvenir shop which had quite a variety of stuff and was not as expensive as the other shops...

We also checked out the blue sand thingi at the tiny secluded beach area near Redang Reef Resort where there's this tiny lil blue glowing thingi in the sand which is supposed to be some organism thingi la...

After that we went back to our rooms and ate some of the junk food we brought along before going to sleep and I was dead tired plus still a lil dizzy from being sea sick so I went to sleep first...especially when the next day was gonna be a heavy one..

Day 2

Got up at about 7am plus...washed up and all and went to have our breakfast...and it was good...xp..

Went to change and get ready for our next snorkelling trip at 9.30am in Marine Park where we had to pay RM5 for that...

The Marine Park thingi was actually at some other island's beach area so it wasn't being 'dumped' in the middle of the sea but more of swimming from the shore onwards without crossing the ' line ' cos there's boats passing by and all...

Was feeling terrible again of the sea sick thingi , I guessed it was the current that was too strong and being worst that I have to swim against it since we have to swim from shore...went in a couple of times and kinda just gave up and sat on the sand instead cos I was really getting dizzy...

Got to know from the others also that this snorkelling trip was not as good as the one we had the day before too cos of the current...

After that we got back by boat to the chalet and had our lunch...there was still some time left before our next snorkelling trip at 2.30pm at Pulau Paku Besar so Eu Yang teman-ed me to go buy some meds for my sea sick-ness since our chalet didn't have any sadly...went over to Redang Bay Resort and managed to buy a pack of 10 tablets for RM5...

So of course la I ate the tablet and I'm really happy it worked, oh well it better! so this time when we went snorkelling, I was able to actually enjoy myself and keep up with the others instead of struggling to stay alive or smtn...

This last snorkelling trip was actually the nearest one, it was just around the island right opposite ours, so it was only around 5 minutes for us to get there, compared to the earlier 2 trips which was much longer...

And this was also the best one according to the others so it's all good, especially since I took the meds before this so I'm happy I was ok to enjoy the best one haha...yeap as they said, save the best for last...yea...

Saw a lot of fishes and corals...was a bit scared when I saw all the fishes swimming around and even towards my direction...but after a while I got used to it so it was fine la haha...near the rocks towards the island was kinda shallow so I was able to stand up and not stress too much just swimming and floating aimlessly haha...

And the same routine again like what we had in Day 1, went back to have tea and then went on again to play around the beach...but without Jing Jing and Eng Yeou since they went back today...

After that we went and took a shower, washed up and stuff before heading on to have our dinner...dinner was good too...had a lot of varieties...

After dinner, again la we walked along the beach and we went to the More More Tea Inn place to check out the souvenir shop and take pics along the way too...

We went to check out the discos too and we visited Redang Bay Resort's one and I just randomly asked the DJ whether I could beatbox and he gave me a mic, fuyoo! haha.. so I just did some freestyle and covers la...was fun haha...loud speakers...one of the staff there even gave me a can of 100 plus after that so it was all good...:D

Kah Yew and me danced a lil on the dance floor at 2 discos but it got boring pretty quick la haha...noobs right..not saying us ok, I'm refering to the ppl there dancing, really noob la haha..

So after that all of us decided to go and try out the beach chairs and just look at the stars in the sky...it was awesome and sooo relaxing....

We couldn't get enough of it, so we decided to just lie on the sand instead and it was of course much better, (ignoring the fact that we had to dust the sand off our clothes after that), the icy cold feeling of the sand made it so much more relaxing....Eu Yang actually fell asleep! haha...but Chu Luei and Kah Yew wanted to go back to the room sekejap and so we had to wake him up, too bad la...

Went back to the room to get our Maggi Cups and fill it with hot water while hanging out outside our rooms at the hammocks...

Went to sleep around 2am plus....

Day 3

Woke up around 6am cos I wanted to catch the sun rise...managed to take some pics but it was cloudy so it wasn't all that clear...we took some group pics too just before the sun REALLY rised or else it would be difficult to take pics with our backs facing the sea as the light is facing the camera.

Had our breakfast and then packed up to get ready to check-out...returned our life jackets, snorkelling masks and keys...and waited for the boat to pick us up to go to Merang jetty...

While waiting we chatted up this gang of 4 girls who were at the same chalet and package as us...found out that one of them was actually Kah Yew's senior in SMK SS17 where he studied Form 6 haha! wow really small world...

Eu Yang and Kah Yew ordered for ABC while we were waiting for the boat when suddenly our resort's staff dudes told us the boat has arrived already, so both of them la have to just stuff it all in asap hahahahaha...

Got on the boat...suddenly this bunch of unfamiliar ppl came on to our boat but we didn't think much of it...then after a while they realised they went on the wrong boat and they were even already wearing the life jackets haha, good thing the boat had not sped off yet...

When they went off, we realised that it was only us again on the boat and the driver then took off...we were like fuyoooo...we are the only ones!! so cool, it felt like it was our private boat wei...we even went up the deck to the seats next to the driver and chatted with him..it was really awesome! especially the breeze!

Arrived at the jetty, our van driver dude Pak Lemang was already waiting for us. But he asked whether we wanted to just take a look around the stalls selling souvenirs before going off so we did...

After that Eu Yang told Pak that we wanted some keropok lekor since Terengganu is famous for that...so we did stopped by at this stall and bought some lekor and other types of keropok as well...

After the keropok stop, we went on to another stall to have our lunch which was mix rice...I didn't eat thou, the others did, cos I was already full with the keropok lekor haha...

Before Pak dropped us at the airport, he took us to half collasped stadium haha...so we got down and took some pics and we couldn't go too near cos there was a police line...

Arrived at the airport around 2.30pm for our flight which was at 4.15pm by MAS....

Nothing much la after that...arrived at KLIA and my dad fetched all of us back..

Yeap..thank God nothing got delayed and that nothing bad happened except sea sick-ness...so that's it for this Pulau Redang trip...would be looking forward to our next trip again together..but the question is when?

Amazing G-Race 2009

yeaaa it's the annual Amazing G-Race 2009 in Sunway Uni!!! this time my teammates were David, Ming Chu and Kent and our team name was," Last Minute"! hahaha...literally ok...cos we hand in the form on the last day of registration...

So well, the G-race was pretty awesome. but sadly, again la my stamina took a toll on me, I should have trained up before the race. So was lagging behind my teammates , sorry guys! Running is not my thing, but other things ok no problem haha.

Aite, imma just go really brief la cos i can't remember much and I'm way too tired to anyway, haha. and we didn't take pictures cos we were runnning up and down la as usual so sorry no pics...

Each team was also given an egg to take care of through out the whole race for the final lucky draw at the end and I handled the egg-keeping job! :D So we were in the 5th interval to be flagged off.

First up, was identifying the alphabets at 8 diff places we had in our clues around campus and unscramble the letters to form a word. the answer was ' Tortoise' . this task was not all that smooth thou, as there were some unethical behaviour from certain teams, like ripping off the masking tape which the alphabets were written on, so that was not cool.but good thing we manage to find out what the answer was and got our next clue.

the next clue stated which walk was the biggest in sunway , was pretty obvious, the answer was elephant walk. so ok la we ran there. arrived, then we had to solve this mental puzzle code thingi which we couldn't figure it out in 20 minutes given sadly, so our team had to incur the 10 minute penalty.

after that we got the clue which showed a compass showing north, south, east, west, where the south part had a picture of a key next to it. So we figured it would be South Quay. so again la we ran there. got a clue there which made us decipher a code which the answer was PJS-9-PARK, so yeala we ran there.

arrived, then there was 2 task we could choose. we chose the waxing haha.which was not that bad la, it was just masking tape taped on our legs and forearms and just rip it off , since we were sweaty , and barely any hair to spare( at least for me), the task was pretty simple and not painful so it was all good, haha.

after the waxing, got the clue which says, in Sunway Metro , a shop where six is scared of and eleven is next to it or something like that la i can't remember , so the place was obviously , 7-11 la. so good thing Kent ran fast and got there pretty quick and got the clue, which said, to head over Pyramid's Popular.

arrived at Pyramid's Popular, we had to do 4 separate tasks, with each completion of the task we had to go back to the station near Popular to continue the next task till the end of all 4.

the first task we chose was we had to search for Sun Pharmacy.it was at the LG floor near Giant.arrived there, there was no one to be seen and we even asked the pharmacy people on whether they have a clue or something for us haha and they looked super blur poor thing. so we thought we went to the wrong shop or something and started looking around for abt 15 mins when we decided to go back to the pharmacy again and saw one of the student council committee there, we were like, " girlllll where u went weiiii lol" so anyway, we had to answer what was the 3 'pillars' of motto of Sun Pharmacy or something like that and we got our que to go back to Popular to go for our 2nd task.

our 2nd task was searching for this place where it starts with an 'O' , ends with an 'S' and we checked the directory and figured out it was O'Briens. we found it and took a snapshot of it and completed our 2nd task.

3rd task was to go to a fountain where screams and laughters are heard, so we figured it would be Sunway Lagoon then. we went to the blue atrium main entrance there and David was the one who did the challenge of answering a sequence of words of the colour and not the actual colour itself.managed to 9/10 for that one..

4th task was some United poem with a hint that it was located in Parkson. so we headed there and noticed teams were at the perfume section so we went there and found out that it was actually for Calvin Klein, one of the main sponsors for the G-race. we were shown a video of their advertisement and lyrics , and we had to sing it there and then after a short 5 mins discussion with our teammates on remembering the melody and trying our best to make it as creative as possible. so yeap, my beatboxing came to use in this task haha, never thought it would be useful for such an event but it's all good! :D but sadly la the rhythm was out cos rushing and all haha.

after we completed all the tasks, we were given a clue that said,'what the Rock is cooking?' , figured it would be Rock Cafe aka medan.although we were doubting a lil since we saw in the directory there was a place named Rocco Cafe in Pyramid also but we figured since it was already 11am plus so it would be likely we were going to stations heading back to college soon so we went on ahead to Rock Cafe.

arrived at Rock Cafe , saw one of the student council members and got a clue which said,' the biggest and most obvious greens found in campus' , so it was obviously the field and we ran there.

arrived at the field, it was a roadblock challenge. so David again took on this task.there were 3 big biscuit tins of ping pong balls inside with our interval group colour names(ours was white) together la with some 'stuff' in it as well. the tin that David chose was some sticky glue-ish starch thingi haha.

after that our final clue, was a picture of a fork and spoon so we headed straight to the cafeteria. the final challenge, which Kent went for it, was to eat 14 dry biscuits and he was not allowed to drink water during that time. but he managed to pull it off of course :D and we were the 3rd team to arrive at the pit stop in front of SSD.XD

but as it was not counted as which team arrives 1st which determines the winner , but point system. so yea...sadly we didn't get into the top 5 overall, but we were definitely happy and have an awesome sense of satisfaction of arriving 3rd in the final pit stop out of 20 over teams and we were the 5th/last interval to be flagged off! anddd I managed to keep the egg still intact through out the whole race too haha. ok la, so did most of the other teams but it was still something ok. and the beatbox also haha , most unexpected :D

after everything we had some makan which was mihun and tropicana twister drinks.we were also given goodies sponsored by Calvin Klein, make up and make over vouchers by RMK, and Pyramid shopping vouchers in Asian Avenue, all within expiry at 31 May 2009!haha, that's like what? only 1 more month la haha..but still la awesome! XD

after everyone makan and settled down already , the winners were then announced! all top 5 winners won cash prizes which was awesome ,compared to hampers in the previous years.Champion was the team with the longest name, 'We're not Americans, but we're going there' haha which was Jann's team, congratz guys!

and Prabu's team won the lucky draw, which was 4 Sunway Lagoon tickets! Congratz to guys as well!

well basically , Amazing G-Race 2009 was pretty awesome except for a few stuff which didn't go too smoothly. but other than that , big ups and credits to Student Council, the organizers of the event! Whoever who suggested to have more tasks in Pyramid is one smart fellow, cos I noticed they made us run up and down in the morning but later on let us do a lot of task in Pyramid where it's not out in the hot sun haha, compared to the previous years.

One thing that I was extremely happy and impressed was the punctuality! Started at 8am and ended at 2pm all on time! good job! good thing they introduced the time penalty for teams who came late so it turned out that everyone was super punctual haha! well, this race is definitely very competitive which makes it all the more exciting!

Big ups also to my teammates,David(captain), Ming Chu and Kent, sorry guys that i lagged behind a lot in the running, thanks to Kent for staying back while i was lagging haha.it was awesome being in a team with you guys, good teamwork and we all had fun and was definitely satisfying. :D

Big ups to the SAC Committee for organizing this event, you guys are awesome!

It was a blast! except for the sound system which kinda sucked but anyway,it was one of my most satisfying performances ever! awesome crowd! my first time beatboxing with my own electric guitar on stage , was thrilling!

Good job to all the others who performed and of course my collab partner, Vic Jamm! Big thumbs up to my friend, David who acted in the committee sketch! dude, you were the star!!

Thank you all who supported me during the performance , i really appreciate it! And credits to my friend,Lay Peng, who helped me record it. and also thank God for the things He has blessed me with, from nothing to something.

Subang Parade Gig

yea...havent been updating in a while...but this post is just too much to be lazy to not update! haha...

this gig was for Subang Jaya's ADUN, Hannah Yeoh's Christmas Open House in Subang Parade on 20 dec 08,5 to 7pm!

it was an awesome event!! although i kinda reached there a lil late abt 5.20 or 5.30 i think..missed Edward Ling's speech haha...anyway..was there with mei san and rachel and there LOADS of people there wei...

there was free food going around also from MCD and Big Apple Donuts! and drinks from F&N! mei san and me saje only went and help out distributing the drinks..it was like one carton and belum sampai the middle of the crowd the drinks were all gone like wutttt...

there was christmas carolling by CDPC church people...it was really nice they were all awesome singers...then there was also sunway CF people performing a few songs also..and Ram the MC for the event giving a quiz which was kinda fun...everyone was pretty enthusiastic throught out the whole event ,there were a lot of families la obviously haha...

anyway, my gig for this event was kinda spontaneous,like literally wei...cos i was talking to Hannah abt beatboxing,whether she manage to watch the vids i sent her on facebook,she said no cos she was busy,which was quite expected la actually haha so i jokingly said i can do it live la no problem haha..mana tau she straight away asked whether i wanna perform and how long will it be...HAHA! so i was kinda taken aback la ,being super shocked,but i just said ok and said it wld take abt 2 to 3 mins la..so she straight away went to Ram and told him to announce my performance would be next..and all of that happened in like 3 to 5 mins?? i was seriously shocked and zoned out!

good thing was i didnt flipped out during the performance,although there were some quick pauses in between my freestyle beats haha...didnt manage to get a vid thou cos didnt expect to perform haha..and the camera was losing battery cos of recording and taking pics during the beatbox gathering at one utama earlier on...

i just did some freestyle beats and some vocal scratches at the end and one cover which is ever catchy I like to Move It from the madagascar movie! the crowd absolutely loved the move it cover! haha..i was kinda nervous and worried since it was a crowd with a majority of 'older' people LOL..so i had no idea how they would respond to beatboxing and especially the move it cover but i just decided to do it anyway and it was worth it! haha cos i didnt expect they would respond much...

overall it was awesome and fun experience! my 1st beatboxing gig in a shopping mall and also it's like a childhood thingi for subang kids to go subang parade last time,it was like the coolest mall everrrr lol...so yes this would be one of the most memorable gig...

Big ups and thankssss to Hannah for giving me the opportunity to perform at the event..was totally not expected haha..

SAC ACCA Camp 2008

oh yeaaa it's SAC ACCA Camp 2008!! hahaha..went for last year's one too..but this year was just totally awesome! the camp was held from 30th Aug to 1st Sept in Kem Alim Pulapes Banting with the theme 'Pushing the Limits' organized by Sunway ACCA Club(SAC) and sponsored by KPMG and BDO Binder! OC/Camp Commandant was Choon Onn,big ups to him and the committee for an awesome job!

the pics will be up soon!will get it most prob from david,just blogging it now before i forget the details haha!

Day 1

so..we all gathered at college around 7am onwards and waited around till abt 8 smtn then we took off to our camp site...abt 77 participants excluding the committee so we had 2 buses...

arrived there,went to the hall..had a lil briefing session abt the rules and regulations then we went to our dorms to put our stuff n headed back to the hall...

went to our groups..all the groups were actually names of ancient empires which was real cool,so there were 8 groups- German,Sparta,Egypt,Persia,India,Rome,China(my group!) and Japan.

we were given some time to come up with a group cheer and design our flag(each group was given a white cloth)! big ups to my team mates which is Jon Ming(leader),David,Kent,Alfred,Logen,Wei Ling,Rayven,Pegg Ghee and Shin Yee,you guys are the bomb!and...for the 1st time EVER im so proud to be in the group im assigned to in a camp,ok i know this sounds harsh but yea sorry la,all my other camp experience with my group weren't that fun or good so yeala...btw,Jon Ming my group leader,is the one who designed the camp t-shirts which was really nice so max respect to him yo..

anyway...so we designed our flag and decided to put the word '勇' which means 'brave/courage' in chinese(for you bananas xp) right in the middle,and drew some cloud thingi around it,which was david's idea,turned out real nice!

and our group cheer was,

China 加油(jia you),
China go!
We love China,
China yo!

and after the cheer,Logen being the only indian in our group( no racism crap la k) would point to the crowd and say," 要你好看！" haha! that was Wei Ling's idea lol..

we were each given a jacobs biscuit in a lil sealed plastic bag as our "life line"to keep till the end of the camp,it would be counted as points at the end of the camp if it's still intact,sadly mine broke at the 2nd day hahahaha...

each group was also given a pink balloon as our "baby" to keep till the end of the camp too and if it bursts then the group would be given an egg as a "replacement" to keep till the end of the camp,and yes,it's also counted as points and our group managed to keep our balloon till the 3rd day so we got 5 points for that!credits mainly to Logen our keeper who took good care of it! :D

btw,each group was given a red,yellow and blue cloth.the red was for the leader(Jon Ming),the yellow for the treasurer(Wei Ling) to keep our fake money for the auction and the blue for the keeper(Logen) to take care of our group flag and balloon.

all the groups were suppose to perform a sketch for 'talent night' which was on the 2nd night of the camp with the theme 'movies with a twist' which i find real cool and interesting cos then the committee don't really hv to crack their heads thinking what all the groups should do for their sketch and we as the participants would not hv too much headache as we sort of hv a rough idea in our minds and we can put a lot of creativity into it which makes it so much more fun! so our group leaders draw lots,and we were suppose to perform 'Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs',the twist? ADVERTISEMENT. hahahahaha!!

and all of the groups were also suppose to be build a monument representing their empire and it will be judged on the last day of the camp.so obviously my group chose to build the Great Wall lol...

the interesting part of all these was that the committee had AUCTIONS for us to get the items we need for our sketch and monument building and we were given fake money to buy it,each group was given RM1000,cun right? lol... so our group managed to get some cowboy hats for the dwarfs,some eggtrays(one of it used as the mirror for the evil queen) and cardboards...

and we also played the game,'guardian angel',which was most probably taken from cf/church camps,if u've been to one,then u would definitely know abt this game.it's a game where everyone is a guardian angel and u would have a mortal assigned to u whom ur suppose to take care of during the whole course of the camp,of course in discreet and indirectly "watching over and taking care" la lol...in cf camps,we usually give them stuff like food and sweets but in this camp,the committee had a lil place at the corner of the hall set up with cups with each participant's(including the committee except Hui Leng,the one whose in charge of the game) name on it so u can just drop a lil msg in their cup. and of course if everyone has a mortal,everyone would also hv a guardian angel 'guarding' them which u wouldn't know who till the end of the camp when it's time to reveal,so yea....

so during the time of discussion on our group cheer and design of our group flag,Hui Leng was calling out each participant to tell them whose their mortal(but in this camp,they call it 'cucu', lol?) and my mortal/cucu was Khai Sean from group Sparta.

after abt almost 2 hrs when every group was done presenting their flag and group cheer,we then proceed to the cafeteria to hv our lunch...our meals were really simple throughout the whole camp,mainly just 3 dishes(one vege,one meat and egg) sometimes just 2 dishes..anyway..the food was ok la...

after getting some 'bonding' time with my group,chatting over lunch,cos we were suppose to sit in our groups also during meal times,we went back to the hall for a cp of games,n during one of the games,Shen(German's group leader) and i were the "losers" so we kena la punishment,but 1st up we had to intro ourselves so during that intro i also mentioned that my hobby was beatbox and one of the committees(i think it was sofie,not sure) suggested that i beatbox as my punishment while Shen would dance to my beatbox hahahahhahaa....well it turned out real good and i was really happy cos the mic was suprisingly AWESOME hahahah..cos it's only a really simple sound system...but still..i would like to think i sounded great but nah,the mic helped A WHOLE LOT of course hahahaha....credits to Shen for being so sporting also haha it was a really fun collab there hahaha..and also a big thx to everyone who clapped along and enjoyed it,i really appreciate it...XD

after the games we went to the cafeteria again for tea time and had a lil rest before we then proceed to the next game,'Treasure Hunt'. Rebecca was in charge of this game and explained that it's gonna be like counter strike with the concept of terrorist and counter terrorist and my group was terrorist,so we were given a picture that was cut into half which was suppose to be the item that we're suppose to "kidnap"...

we had to get alphabets from diff places in the camp and unscramble them to reveal the location of the item we were suppose to "kidnap" which we found out was a green apple,and the unscrambled words was 'Blue Tong Kayak Lake' or smtn like dat la lol...

and we also had 4 stations to complete tasks,2 in the hall and 2 outdoor...my group had to do the outdoor ones 1st...and at our 1st station,all 10 of us had to stand in a line and pass water balloons from one bucket to the another bucket at the other end,wasn't that easy,i kena wet by abt 4 to 5 water balloons that burst when i couldn't manage to catch it hahaha...

the 2nd station was also outside and 2 out of 10 of us which was david and jon ming had to pick 10 sweets out of a box full of flour with their mouths, while the remaining 8 of us had to walk from one end to the other while all our legs tied to each other with rafia strings,was really good teamwork coordinated by wei ling,good job guys! and also to david n jon ming who sacrificed their faces lol...

3rd station was back in the hall on the mini stage where we had to pass rubber bands with only toothpicks in our mouths and carry a long joint line of straws with shoulders and walk from one end to the other...and all these was done while aruna kept disturbing us...UGH lol...

4th station was also in the hall where our whole group was suppose to down-kan 2 disgusting cups of stufffff...one of was some maggi thingi with i dunno wat 'flavouring' and another a blended juice of celery,red pepper,chilli and wat not...we all shared it thou so it wasn't thattt bad,i took a lil of the juice thingi which was kinda thick,was real bad lol...at least the committee was nice enough to hv some water ready for us to drink after we ate those yucky stuff..

after the treasure hunt we then had our dinner and lil break before we went back to the hall again to discuss abt our sketch and monument with our group...

after that we tukar baju to get ready for our night jungle trekking which was a 1st time for me jungle trekking AT NIGHT....the only jungle trekking i've been in camps were all during the day time...yea im a noob la lol...

the jungle trekking was definitely challenging i would say,partially cos it was already at night so we were all kinda tired out and also that the tracks were kinda steep but thankfully not that muddy or wet so it was all cool...the best part was that when we reached the peak which was near the light house,we budget our time ngam ngam that we arrived there in time to countdown,and we did!!

all of us managed to catch some fireworks and we sang the national anthem also hahaha...was a really awesome experience...merdeka in the woods...awesome!while everyone else is in lagoon,klcc,1u etc counting down n partying,we are in the woods shining our lil torch lights following the ranger dude..lol..but the 2 hrs trekking in the dark was definitely worth it when we reached the peak at 12am.

i really thank God for this,i know it sounds so emo,but to me,this was definitely one of the best highlights ever in camp experience!im sure everyone else enjoyed that moment too! one of the rangers even brought a BIG jalur gemilang while trekking so of course was proudly 'waving' it when we sang 'Negaraku' at the bukit...

after that lil merdeka moment,we then made our back la but using another path of course which was much easier cos it was normal tar road instead of the jungle...haha...since it was a kinda long journey LOL so we had a lil break in between where we had some light supper which the committee and kem ranger ppl brought it by car...

after the lil makan we then went back la...reached the camp site at abt 1am smtn...went back to the dorms and shower and all...i tried to sleep but sadly couldn't cos my cough was getting worst so i had to get some strepsils from the committee so thx to jo lyn who helped me out there...

Day 2

can't even really rmb the details of the timing lol...but anyway..woke up at abt 7am smtn...changed baju n all before heading to the hall to gather n do some warm up...

warm up session was led by Gee Hou...was good...felt better after that lol...then we went on and hv our breakfast which was mihun and fried egg...

after breakfast...we were getting ready to do the obstacle course and repelling...for those who are a lil blur,repelling is also known as abseiling but with a wall..lol..anyway.. my group(China),Japan,Egypt and Persia were the 4 groups which were suppose to do the obstacle course first before heading on to repelling while the other 4 groups did repelling first..

the obstacle course was not too bad...not all that challenging thou..my partner was david,cos we had to go thru it 2 by 2...the only i was stuck with a lil was the wall but anyway thx to david for helping me and kent for motivating me haha...and also my group who was cheering on...the 'tarzan' swinging rope over a lil pond and monkey bars was surprisingly easy so that was GOOD...hahaha...other than that it was ok la..xp

the repelling was a 1st time experience and it was FUN wei!! haha..i think confirm i conquer my fear of heights ever since i started riding roller coasters since f4(yea im a noob,again)and cable riding in koh samui last year...so i wasn't scared doing the repelling but instead enjoying it so much lol!

after repelling we went back to the hall and rest a lil before we had lunch...after lunch..went back to the hall again for 'light and easy' which we found out was that we were suppose to take a nap in the hall LOL...to recharge our energy n all so ok la..manage to sleep a lil...

after the nap it was tea time...just some curry puff and some other kuih thingi...i didn't eat thou..wasn't hungry...after that we tukar baju to get ready for our next activity which was gonna be air raid and kayakking...

my group(China),Japan,Sparta and German were the groups who were suppose to do the air raid first...we're all wondering what's air raid too before this LOL...anyway,it's actually requiring each member of ur group to hold an egg while doing the course thingi which is:

1)goin round the chair 10 times with ur head down
2)running a zig zag cross the water bottles on the ground with the committees throwing water and flour at u
3)picking up 2 tennis balls in the mud
4)commando crawl in the mud with the committees throwing buckets of water and flour again at u

yea..so we got really dirty after that...well good thing was i still manage to keep the egg intact when i finished it hahahha...

after that we went and did a real quick wash up before we went kayakking,the lake was already dirty so yea,doesn't matter la even though we're dirty n we go in the lake hahaha....

my partner was again,david, in kayakking,since theres 2 seats per kayak...lol..since david had experience kayakking in NS and my only experience kayakking was a few yrs ago in eagle ranch which i can't really rmb how to kayak again lol...so credits to david for giving me pointers in kayakking,was real fun splashing water at our team mates and 'terbalik-kan' our kayak when time was up and we were paddling back hahahahhaha....in the end we just swam back but it was just a short distance la nvm haha...

after that we went and shower and all and head on to the field for our barbeque night...committees and the kem jurulatih ppl were helping out barbequing...sadly there was not really enough food thou but anyway..there was sausages,fried nugget bola bola,corn,potatoes,marshmallow,prawn,chicken wings,sotong ball,chicken,fish,garlic bread etc...

aruna was helping out giving out the fried rice thingi so that was cool...cos hungry and tired la waiting for the food to barbeque lol..

after makan,we all head on to the hall to just hv our final touch up on our sketch and bermula-lah talent night yang dinanti-nantikan...

lazy to elaborate too much on this lol...but overall,imo,german and egypt did an awesome job with their sketch...they really planned it out well according to their theme and added a lot of humour n creativity in it...

german's sketch was 'ju-on twist to comedy' and egypt's sketch was 'transformers twist to musical'....big ups to christopher and manoj from german and han,patrick and siang from egypt,u guys were cun tet wei...

our group's sketch was as i stated earlier,'snow white and the 7 dwarfs twist to advertisement'...so let me intro the cast 1st before we move on to our story line...fyi,there weren't enough actors/actress so some of us played multiple roles...we were the 3rd group to present our sketch..

Scene 1
the 7 dwarfs were messing around in their lab making some whitening fair cream for snow white...with all the clanging and banging of the chemcical test tubes(Km Km Km) , when suddenly smtn exploded (BOOM~~)...one of the dwarfs was badly injured and had to be rushed to the hospital...(sirens~~~)

Scene 2
the king's queen had just passed away and he's mourning for her death...then one of the ppl who attended the funeral passes an Eye-Mo to the king...he drops a few drops of eye mo into his eyes(water drop sound~~) and advertises eye mo,"take eye mo,for better tears" and then chooses one of the girls in the funeral(the evil queen) to be his new wife

Scene 3
little did the king know that his new wife,the evil queen,had a secret,which is her mystical and mysterious mirror on the wall.and everyday lah she will ask the mirror on the wall whose the fairest among all and of course the mirror will answer that the evil queen is the fairest among all....UNTILL one day,10 yrs later...the mirror answered that SNOW WHITE is the one whose the fairest among all...the evil queen went berserk and ordered that snow white to be brought to her immediately...

Scene 4
the hunter brings snow white to the queen and the queen punishes her by making her stay under the sun for 12 hrs for 2 mths...while snow white was happily 'sunbathing'...the hunter brings a Yeo's chrysentenum tea for snow white and opens the cap with his teeth...while snow white drinks it and then advertise/promotes it,"Yeo's,natural and cooling"... hahaha...this scene received the loudest applause from the crowd hahahaha...

Scene 5

hahahha...that was really fun stuff man....sadly we didn't win..but it was all good thou...

when talent night ended,it was real late adi abt 1am or smtn like dat so all of us went back to our dorms to get some shut eye...

Day 3

the day started real early at abt 3am smtn when suddenly the committee just charged in our dorms and turned on the lights and screaming for all of us to get up...so obviously all of us were like dumbstruck and stunned for a moment...and the committee told us to go gather at the cafeteria...

everyone was still in a blur mode in the cafeteria...then rebecca started to explain and tell us that the reason we were there was cos we were gonna do operasi burung hantu....

well since i did operasi burung hantu before in last year's camp...i wasn't too scared abt it lol...so yea got thru it...then we were told to go back to the hall...then sudd the committee told us to make sure that all our team mates were present when every group sudd realised that all our group leaders were missing! lol..so the committee revealed and told us that they kidnapped our leaders and we were given a simple clue to the location where they're hidden...

btw it was already 4am smtn..so yea..we were tired...anyway...so terpaksa we all had to cari our leader...our clue was pretty simple,it went smtn like this,"Would u go thru all obstacles to find ur leader?",so we were pretty sure it was the obstacle course area and yeap we were right and we managed to rescue our leader haha...so then AGAIN,we went back to our dorms to get some sleep...since of this casualty,the committee decided to let us sleep till 9am plus...

i woke up at abt 8.30am...got ready and all and went to the hall to fix up our monument...then we went for breakfast when everyone was up...

after breakfast..we went back to the hall and played our last game of the camp...it was seperated into 2 parts...

1st..every group was given a sheet of paper of 30 questions to answer...all general knowledge type of questions except for 3 algebra questions,just some quadratic equations la...which i managed to help my group solve which was good...we were given 30 mins to answer all of it..

2nd was that we were suppose to find sweets around the camp site...mostly at the grass-y areas...i managed to find some..which was good..and i guess this game really boost my group's points up...

after that last game...we went for lunch and packed our bags and went back to the hall for the judgement of our monument buildings and closing and all...

im sure every group put in a lot of effort and hardwork in their monument including my group and all of us are extremely proud of it!! and we got 1st place for our monument building!!! :D

from what i can remember...the monument building of every group...

German - they didn't wanna do the berlin wall cos of the history of it of violence so they did a mix of all the cool stuff of Germany which is the cars and all

Sparta- Trojan Horse

yeap...so the overall results of the accumulated points of all the groups was....

1st place: Sparta
2nd place: China!!
3rd place: Egypt

YAY!! my group,China got 2nd place! and we got a hamper..was really happy wei...definitely the game on the 3rd day of the camp and the monument building boosted our points till 2nd place wei..so yeap...was really happy...1st time in my camp experience that my group ever managed to get top 3...yea im a noob AGAIN...

so after prize giving session...it was time to reveal whose our guardian angel...so hui leng called out all the girls name and we formed a line,while after that,the guys were to find their mortal/cucu and stand in front of them haha...so my guardian angel was Irman from group Egypt, and it became like a zig zag thing cos my guardian angel is in front of me while my mortal/cucu is on my guardian angel's left hand side,so yea...it was a real cool system Hui Leng worked out...props to her...

after that...we had a big group photo session with all campers and committees in it..and individual group photos...

then we went back to our dorms to get our bags and go to our buses and headed back to college...

arrived back in college around 5pm smtn...opened our hamper and shared the stuff...we opened the sparkling juice bottle and all of us shared it...wow haha..really victory drink man...felt so goodddd...hahaha...

anyway,all the groups also received a hamper which was good even though the winners got a bigger one thou...at least it's still smtn...

END OF CAMP

got back home...was dead tired...food and sleep deprived haha...anyway..heres my review of the camp...it was definitely one of my most awesome camp experience...and it definitely fit the theme of 'pushing the limits' cos they gave us 2 big tasks to work out in just a cp of days which was the sketch and the monument building and mind u,all of us didn't know each other in the group at all before this...except that i knew david and shin yee before this but we weren't that close anyway...

and also that bcos of this challenging tasks,we were "forced" (lol,what a word), to bond together in order to get it done...so that was good...and i'll definitely continue my friendship with the ppl i met at camp esp my team mates...bcos these 2 tasks really pushes u to work as a group...rather than the other games where it's mostly going in 2 by 2 or 1 by 1 n accumulating points....

so yea...it was good overall...although of course there are some stuff that can be improved on..if u wanna know the real details,ask me la personally haha..and also i would wanna gv a shout out to the committee that y'all done a great job and this camp was definitely worth it!

not an easy road

a very rare thing i do in my blog,is expressing my thoughts ,which is what a blog is meant for haha. but all i do is update abt events n gigs,anyway...

i was talking to a really good friend a cp of days ago...and these are the phrases that kinda struck me, is that, being a christian is not easy,it is in fact the hardest path to be on and live like one...when u realised ur life is becoming easy and real smooth then there shd be some self checking/reviewing cos theres probably smtn ur not fixing...im not saying that u shd be putting urself in a suffering and problem forever state but ya...i hope u get what i mean,im refering this to the christians..

to be in the world ,and not part of it. definitely not easy. im working on it. lol,wow,it's not easy to express in words/blogs for me. anyway, as the bible said, narrow is the gate AND THE PATH that leads to salvation,and very few will find it. rmb,it's not just the gate which is narrow,the path is also included.

one of the main problems that ppl are so doubtful and criticise christians is because they don't see the diff between the christians and non-christians lifestyles when christians keep claiming and ARE SUPPOSE to be diff.when i try to picture back myself as a non christian,being in their shoes,observing,theres really no diff.we shd be making the standard.

another impt point in self checking is on the fruits of the spirit. do u have it? it's not just a one time prayer then u receive ur salvation. read the bible,it NEVER SAID SO. the bible tells us to always examine ourselves to see if we r still in the faith.

i know that ppl always say nobodys perfect and all, but i can tell u , in every famous quote in the world , theres something in the bible that contradicts it, and i experienced and discovered it. nobodys perfect?lol, but the bible says ,be perfect,just as ur Father in heaven is perfect. with the help of the Holy Spirit,it can be done of course,if ur willing to obey God.

ppl always say stuff like, dont' judge me! only God can! and all that stuff,but again YES,read ur bible,thats if ur judging on no basis of whatsoever,looking at a person for the 1st time and assuming this and that.

but if ur so called "judging" on a person sinning,for example,having pre marital sex or homosexual relationships,that is NOT judging,cos the bible said to rebuke it and tell the person abt it privately.it's not called judging, cos it's diff,in THIS CASE,it's judging SIN.

anyway,my whole point is,im sick of hypocrites.and im not saying im now all so holy and stuff,im not,yes i admit i slacked,but now,it's time to get back.

haha ya its another beatbox performance again...this time it was for smk taman connaught's Leo club's 15th anniversary dinner...in cheras..was cool..really good performances they had..skipping rope..popping by the mustang crew..some singing by their leos..a band..some dancing..food was not bad..there was ice kacang haha..didnt get paid for this gig,just got a free buffet but its all good..

my 1st time performing with dexter..really awesome..and also my 1st time performing beatboxing for a breaker haha and dexter's 1st time breaking to a beatboxer's beats hahahaha and it turned really well!

i had only one experience breaking to a beatboxer which was on freshie nite 08 in sunway college which was totally spontaneous haha so yeap...

Easter Rally Cf Smksu 2008

hey...its easter rally cf smksu 2008!! lol..couldnt manage to go for the one in 2007 cos of t5 progress test!!lol..still rmb abt that k...anyway..this year i joined the dance team which includes chooi si,ju yinn,yih shan,jimmy,damien,kuan zi,me and we performed for this year's easter rally!

the theme for this year's rally was 'Touch n Grow'...was not too bad la this year...just that the turnout was less than expected..probably abt 100++ people who attended the event...

emcee's were cheryl and wei shen...abt 3 performances lined up this year...1st was the dance,2nd was the pantomime and 3rd was a band playing a cp of songs...pastor was Reverend Jamie Haith,a 'guai lou' ok..lol..1st time cf SU had a 'guai lou' coming over to preach...cun..

Amazing G-Race 2008

hey...yeap..i joined the Amazing G-Race organized by Sun-U's student council this year!! haha...actually i also joined last yr..but didnt blog abt it haha..anyway..this year my teammates was pravena,prabu and julie..and our team name was 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'! lol...pravena suggested it so...lol and shes the team captain...

i didnt bring my camera along with me..cos scared heavy la gotta run around and all..
anyway..amazing g-race is something like the real Amazing Race that we watch on tv...with the detours,road block and all...lol..

oh yea,the race was kinda sponsored from celcom i think..so they gave each of us a purple X Pax cap lol..and also a lil X Pax pouch to keep an egg..to make sure it doesnt break thru out the race till the last station/base..

so the best part for today was...pamela and vanessa,the 1st runner ups and sawaka the sister from the jap team,from amazing race asia came!!! woohoo~~!! really didnt expect sawaka to come thou..but so ngam shes in msia for a holiday visiting the sisters apparently so she came along also la..hehe..ECHO invited them to flag off the race for us participants of the G-Race!! woohoo~!!

so yeap..of course we wouldnt miss the opportunity to take pics!! as i said before in my really old previous posts...its best to take pics with celebs in situations like these where there is less tension and relaxing environment rather than autograph sessions and all haha..kk..im getting too excited adi haha..credits again to nicholas for taking the pics with his cun DSLR camera! XP

pam and van was giving a lil speech before we started the race,giving lil advices here n there and sawaka also sang for us! so cool wei...just saje watch them on tv ok la,suddenly get to see them in person..especially sawaka singing! cos shes all the way from japan wei lol!

anyway...moving on to the race..sadly we didnt win la haha..it was tough..for me..cos im not used to running A LOT lol..and this race was mostly running up and down to search for the stations cos we were suppose to race around Bandar Sunway only ON FOOT! lol...

i cant rmb all the challenges in the right order..but anyway,i'll just blog on the 'highlighted' challenges k haha..the 1st one was that we were given clues to search for an alphabet in diff places in college...abt 12 diff places...so we manage to find all the alphabets and we had to unscramble the letters find out our next 'destination',and the answer was the 'elephant walk' so after that we rannnnn all the way there to do the task...

there was also a station in pyramid..2 actually...the earlier one was situated outside the new wing,where we found the student council members with a cp of tables and a lot of jacobs biscuits filled with wasabi and what not. only 2 ppl were suppose to perform this task by eating 10 of the biscuits so pravena and prabu went and they managed to eat abt 9 1/2 biscuits,nice! lol!

the other station/base in pyramid was at the starbucks at the main entrance of pyramid's old wing..we got the clue from the station masters and was suppose to perform the tasks written on the paper which was:

1.to count how many steps there were at the 'giant' stairs of pyramid's old wing
2.to get a clue from 3 diff people wearing a blue celcom t-shirt and a purple celcom cap
3.count the number of the weird red rectangle thingi at the red atrium of pyramid's new wing

this one was interesting as people was looking at us babies and other teams walking and running around with purple caps in pyramid haha!

there was also this challenge where we had to go to Spectrum Food Court and solve/decipher this code..the clue given was the title,which was 'Project Bravo Equalisation' and we were given a big table of alphabets and all la..but we managed to figure it out in the end and the answer was "Celcom,its in your hands" lol! credits to prabu for cracking this code!

and one of the last cp of challenges was situated outside Monash University..this was kinda like a road block where only ONE person can perform the task..so we picked pravena..and guess what?the challenge was to find 5 coloured marbles...in a jacobs biscuit container full of worms!!but pravena manage to pull this one off,respect,good job!

as i said,i didnt expect this much RUNNING!! so i was really tired thru out the race..only time that we had to rest was during the stations while waiting for a cp of teams ahead of us doing the task..other than that it was just crunch time all the way! sorry if i had dissapointed u guys cos i lagged behind most of the time cos i cldnt really keep up with the running...and thx to julie too for waiting for me to catch up and pravena motivating me haha..really had a fun and great time with u guys!

and also another shout out to the student council people,u guys did a great job! even though as some people commented that the clues were a lil too easy or maybe straight forward but at least y'all organized it well!

and of course thank God that this event was a real success and that no one got injured or any mishaps along the way!

yeap...its my CAT graduation ceremony! wee~!! now its on to ACCA k...lol..really thank God for this..i never really expected to pass all 1st time at one go cos i was having a really tough time with the subjects and all..even thought of differing n stuff but yes,thank God for the strength He gave that pulled me through all obstacles..its really a miracle la i tell u..

Ravelution on Recruitment Week in Sun-U 2008

hey...imma blog abt Ravelution club on Recruitment Week in college which was held from 11th to 13th March 2008 from 10am to 5pm!!

well basically Recruitment Week is where all the clubs and societies set up their booths along the foyer/concourse(??) of the college to promote themselves and recruit new members..well,i agree with nicholas that last year's recruitment(it's induction actually,they changed the name this year) week wasn't that lively as the one held this year...and its worst off that im blur blur as a newb in coll so i kinda join a few societies but did not rerally get any updates after that so i was only active in cf at that time last year...lol..

anyway..this year..i was helping out with Ravelution club,which i joined early this year after browsing through the clubs and societies brochure in SSD...my 1st gig with them was during Freshie Nite doing a dance and i was also a 'part time' emcee for that night...

well, Ravelution is basically a club which gives u a platform to perform any kind of talents that u hv,it doesn't hv to be the typical singing,playing instruments,dancing and stuff although those are usually the ones where it's easier to find members who are talented..we just started our own blog too! its Ravelution Blog

anyway,so we had a cp of performances representing Ravelution lined up..although i didnt manage to catch it cos i had classes in the 1st two days of recruitment week...

the open dance circle thing was kinda impromptu..and i didnt really dance much this time lol,compared to the circle in ACCA social gathering that night..wasn't in the right clothes and the music was a lil off for me haha cos it's more suitable for popping..

anyway,im sure all of us including me,had a really great time this week! hehe..love all u guys in Rave! really hoping to see many more performances in the future and stronger bonding between all of us! and of course ultimately,i thank God too that i joined this club and for the people,woo~!

Dap subang ceramah

heyz...a lil update ppl...yeap..i went for the dap ceramah on 1/3/08 sat night and last night 3/3/08 mon night at usj 12,9pm...it was really cun!

im not an all hard out politic freak..but i definitely have learned a lot abt it recently (somewhere around 2007)when i started reading politicians blog's esp Lim Kit Siang's blog!

well,ppl may say politics are boring and that it has ntg to do with them so they dont want to know,thats what i thought too last time,but hey,its actually really cool! enlightened me a lot and definitely gave me a lot more general knowledge on whats happening around us....and it also make u seem real smart when u can talk abt politics with adults esp haha...

anyway...went for both the ceramahs with my mom and her friends,was real cool! the representative for subang jaya from dap would be Hannah Yeoh! so yeap,support her ppl...

well sadly i didnt bring camera so there wont be any pics...but both nights were incredible and there were thousands of ppl!! serious! really good experience for me as a 1st political ceramah i hv ever attended! and it was suprisingly very entertaining too! ppl may think,well,its only gonna be some speakers speaking thats all,so boring la n all...but guess what?? its the other way round! the whole atmosphere was so cool and entertaining! everyone who was there,mostly middle age adults, were so sporting, cheering and clapping A LOT,practically everytime the speaker on stage finish their every sentence.so semangat and enthusiastic!

on saturday night,hannah yeoh was the star la of course.so when she came out to speak everyone was screaming and cheering and clapping like she some celeb.well i guess she is la,considering that there are ppl who steal her posters on the street,haha!

on monday night,lim kit siang was the star! he came quite late,around 11pm smtn...but thats cos subang jaya was his 11th stop of the day!! he went malacca and seremban the very same day giving ceramah also! respect him k , so much stamina and hes 67 yrs old wei...when he started to speak,his voice was like almost gone adi,kesian...but he still tahan and during his speech it somehow got better...

well on saturday night,the weather was awesome,cooling and all...haris ibrahim and nurul izzah came!! Haris Ibrahim is a really cool dude..i really wanted to see him in person since i also read his blog...

on monday night,it rained while we were there...but then gd thing my mom brought umbrellas just in case...so dapat use it la haha..it stopped halfway but then it rained again..lol..but thank God the rain totally stopped just ngam ngam when it was hannah's turn to speak...

despite the rain,ppl stayed back..fuyoo..some went off,but actually they went to take their umbrellas and came back hahaha! so cute la...i think most probably cos lim kit siang was gonna speak that night,thats why haha...

yay~!! im officially a CAT grad student!! we got our results today and i passed all the 4 papers i took last sitting! woohoo~~!!! that means im gonna be in ACCA now FOR SURE yooo,no more telling ppl,"im in ACCA...IF I PASS..." lol! no more of those anymoreeee hahaha...

graduation day shd be next month la i guess..anyway,i really just wanna thank God man,cos withotu Him this wouldnt be possible.all the hardwork(well,not really)and suffering(this is for sure) is so worth it! thank God for giving me the strength and endurance all this time to persevere...woohoo~! its worth it la i tell u.

anyway,i had my 6K class gathering cum jun jie's farewell party at jun jie's hse on 3rd Feb,sunday in the evening...well sadly,since it was planned quite last minute by vienna,haha,only abt 8 of us including me made it. it was jun jie,vienna,kin foong,xin ee,kean chong,han jun,eu yang and me. well,it was still fun considering that we still got to meet each other after so long haha...and the best part was jun jie's dad rent the 'lok lok' van for the night!haha so cun,cos it was kinda a cny party for his family also,so his relatives and family friends came over too so yeala,mmg ngam la rent the whole van haha...it was really cool experience...and im sure vienna enjoyed it the most!lol,inside joke..

on tuesday,5th Feb...i took a ktm to mid valley in the afternoon to meet up with eu yang,chu luei and lay peng cos eu yang had school on tues...aww too bad haha...so we met up,yum cha and went shopping which was kinda cool,seeing that its my 1st time shopping with them haha...abt 6pm smtn almost 7pm we took the ktm back,and yes,it was jam packed k....after that we decided to go subang parade to makan and meet up with kah yew..arrived at parade,'found' kah yew,and yes,finally,he got himself a new phone that day!we're all definitely so happy for him,seeing that now is so much ezier to contact him...

and the best part was i pranked call him the next day cos he doesnt know my phone number,hahahahhaha...don't so angry k kah yew..just joking only,hahaha..

and yes,the reunion dinner on wednesday,7th Feb. sorry la no pics cos i didnt bring camera~

anyway,the dinner was good.as usual all of us would go to my grandmomma's hse to gather up and makan.we had steamboat and more dishes cooked by everyone including curry,prawns,ikan bilis sambal etc and extra stuff like the kuih onde onde made by my youngest uncle and a cake from secret recipe by my aunt and her family...

after makan,then ntg much la...received angpaus from my relatives and everyone just sit around and chat chat a lil..i catched up a lil with my cousins...then went back home around 9pm smtn...

Day 1

yeap,day 1 of cny! woke up around 9am smtn...ate breakfast then headed off to my grandmother's place again...met up with my relatives then headed to the temple again as usual,every year..hmm..well,i like the people there,cos i used to be at the temple quite often when i was much younger,and the people(family friends who visits the temple too) were the ones i usually see and talk to,so after becoming a christian,obviously i wouldnt wanna go back to the temple anymore,but sadly,yes,my dad still kinda makes all of us go and well,my siblings and I had to,no choice haha.

but then,i would say the only motivation for me there is the people,and also that i did have good memories there when i was playing around with my cousins when we were so bored up.

anyway,we left the temple abt 11am smtn...went off to IOI Mall cos we bought tickets the day before to watch Jay Chou's new movie.."Kungfu Dunk!" lol...so hang around there a lil bit..makan lunch then went to watch the movie at 2pm...fuish..one thing i must say is,if u like bball,kungfu and jay chou,this will be your new favourite movie haha...well,no spoilers here,so if ur interested in the movie,i recommend that u just GO and watch it,its really good,even though im not a jay chou fan,i like bball so yeap,hahaha...

after the movie..went back home..sleep untill 7pm smtn...makan dinner..watch a movie "Daddy Day Camp" on dvd...and here i am now,blogging...haha..sorry la,i don't really hv the habit of blogging,so there won't be much posts from me haha..

Day 2 & Day 3

lol a delayed post,anyway,ya i was basically at ipoh these 2 days during cny...stayed in my aunts hse and went visiting...ntg much la lol except that when we went to visit one of my mom's friend's place,i saw 2 rubic cubes so i just play with it and solve it la then they all so stunned there hahahaha...SS-ing here..

happy new year 2008 ppl!! yeap..this year i went to hui yen's hse to hv a lil sleepover with the octaves which only 3 others who could make it which was shu ning kok hong and wyhow,but only me,shu ning and kok hong slept over...

so i arrived at hui yen's hse around 9pm smtn on 31/12/07...then every1 was there already except kok hong...well her dad invited some of his friends and they brought their kids along and knowing that hui yen has a big family living with her,with her cousins and grandma n all,so it was quite a lot of ppl lol...

well,hui yen's dad mmg pandai masak bbq,cos we also had bbq party at hui yen's hse before last time way back for our 3 kappa gathering i rmb,my 1st post as a blogger if u wanna track back lol,and yeap he was also bbq-ing a lot of stuff that night!

but i didnt know so i adi ate dinner at home,but nvm..haha..i still ate chicken and some potatoes...was really nice! and hui yen was so obsessed pouring chinese tea for everyone...so cute !

then after a while ,wyhow suggested that we play the monopoly that he brought,so ok la..the others went n play..including hui yen's sister and cousin...i was obsessed with hui yen's dad punye classical guitar haha...so i was playing with the guitar while they were playing monopoly...i even brought my song book..XD

so after a while..around 10pm smtn..mr fabulous kok hong called hui yen for directions to her hse..so many times ok.. and his mom who was driving was still quite lost,so in the end hui yen's cousin drove us to the usj 13 padang where he was waiting to fetch him back to hui yen's hse..lol..

so after that..shu ning also wanna flaunt her musical talent-ness la lol,she mmg pro piano,so we did a duet for the song '不能说的秘密' by jay chou...was pretty good haha...can perform..cheh waa..

and we also did a bit of 'jamming' la haha..she shared with me the chords for '不得不爱' but when i play it on the guitar,sounds really bass-like....haha..and avril lavigne's 'when you're gone'...

and we also duet the song 'auld lang syne' when it was 12am haha...hui yen's dad got everyone in the living room to sing along..kinda cool...

but since hui yen's tv is not in the living room,LOL,but in her aunts room,so tak sempat watch the tv to check the countdown...so i guess we sorta ter-miss the countdown and decided to just countdown ourselves lol...not long after that,wyhows parents came to pick up him adi..

after all that,we played the game called 'ungame' that i brought...haha...its pretty interesting,its actually a deck of cards with questions on it that usually would require u to voice out ur own opinion,which is quite cool, it works by every1 picking a card when its their turn. theres also some special cards in the deck which says "question or comment" meaning,u can question a player anything(something like truth in the game 'truth or dare') or just comment on a random subject,up 2 u la basically.

then after that,not much la..just chatting the whole way...then we decided to play scrabble at 3am smtn...wuttt...lol...after scrabble,we played mahjong...a bit sien adi la after that...but we were determined to reach our goal which is to stay awake the whole night..pretty crazy...so after that basically it was me,shu ning,hui yen and her sister chatting la...kok hong who was sooo action to stay awake till 8am actually fell asleep before any of us around 5am smtn..

and suprisingly,we manage to stay awake,im quite shock also at myself,cos i never stayed up for a whole night before,except once doing audit hw,which doesnt really count cos i slept for abt one or two hrs in between....

so the 3 of us me,shu ning and hui yen suddenly realise it was 7am smtn almost to 8am haha...then her parents also woke up adi...so her dad belanja-ed us breakfast at sri melur...we walked there...

after that the 3 of us went cycling!and hui yen's dad also followed lol.came back adi...i randomly said i was learning beatboxing off the net,so i showed some stuff...then shu ning asked me to 'teach' her lol,so i taught a bit la...hahah cheh waa im so perasan now...actually im a noob in beatboxing...just learning a lil for fun...

after that we went to hui yen's room so that i cld show them some dancing moves lol...cos they were saying they wanted to go for some dance classes and stuff,hip hop and all...so i taught a lil toprock from breakin...haha..was pretty fun being their dance teacher for that moment,cheh waa haha!XD

then was pretty tired adi la...it was already around 11am smtn coming up to 12pm...i think i felt asleep on the floor of hui yen's room for abt 10 mins to half an hour haha i cant rmb...then i called my mom to pick me up cos i was sooo tired haha...

shu ning was like dead asleep on hui yen's bed...kok hong just woke up i think..he was sleeping in the living room...cos i saw him when i was going back out to my mom's car...lol..

came back around 12pm smtn...straight away plopped on to the bed and fell asleep until abt 6pm smtn...then got up to get ready to go to my cousin's apartment with my family to meet up with the rest for dinner at the apartment...

sadly i got no pics..sorry..i didnt bring my camera to hui yen's hse or to the dinner...haha...

so yeap..again,happy new year 2008! fuish..gonna be in acca part 2 adi y'all...as long as i pass all 4 CAT papers that i took last round la haha...and thank God for sustaining me through the whole 2007 which was pretty tough cos of the change from sec sch to college and cos i wasnt adapting so well even though im a 'local' lol...yeap..btw updates..i aint joining the dance event thingi on my last post which i mentioned..but still thank God for it la..hmm..

woohoo~~!! even though exams are only 2 days away but im so hyper now lol!!

indeed He is a prayer answering God.just yesterday i was depressed abt some stuff...and God heard my prayers...sent a friend to comfort me when i was really down..

and today..i got this email abt some dance marathon thingi from someone who i dont even know...so i contacted the person and asked how i was in their mailing list...dunno how la i got into it..but thank God,cos this is indeed an awesome blessing...lol cos im sorta offered a gig! i prayed for this for sooooo long...n God answered my prayer...indeed its true..God sometimes answers us,'NOT YET'. everything is perfect in His timing. thats all im saying,God rocks.

lol audit and tax on the way...i pray for strength,wisdom and peace from God.if everything goes right and i passed,awesome.if it doesnt,its ok,God has His purpose and reasons.

pray for my exams guys!thank you y'all so much! cos u know,if fail,gotta resit for 6 months,and most importantly,no graduation day and different classmates.just wanna thank God for all the great classmates i had in college,there were definitely sweet memories that i will certainly cherish forever. =)

Stress?
is there not a time we don't feel it?
haha,well,everyone seems to be always on about it..
CAT/ACCA?we all know the path is gonna be difficult and hard,
some try to wear it off like stomp the yard;
some of us(like me) didn't see it coming,
so now we all end up fussing and stressing;
homework,studies and even death,with deadlines attached,
gotta step up if you don't want to be in 2nd batch;
advices to study consistently i should have heed,
'cos thats what this course takes,and desperately needs;
times of stress where it's sometimes hard to put God first,
it's not easy,but i always try and remember this verse;
that my strength comes from Him,the one and only,
even when im stuck in my room studying all so lonely;
telling myself that He's always there for me,
no matter what my marks may turn out to be;
so even if the exams seems endless,
and that there are times i feel i can't cope;

ACCA Camp 'Back to Basics'

woohoo~!!!so it was the ACCA camp 'back to basics' from 31st aug to 2nd sept!haha yeahh we cat/acca babies got no hols...so sad..so the only time available was this short 3 days of hols...anywayy...it was fun! the Sunway ACCA Club(SAC) organized it..and we went to the rawang commonwealth forest park...

Day 1
arrived at college abt 7am...was waiting around with everyone else...nothing much here..it was around 70 plus campers including the 20 plus committees and some of them already went the day before,on thursday evening...so we only went on 1 bus and a few cars....contrast wif cf camp punye 4 buses..LOL

arrived at the campsite..unloaded our bags and all..then we gathered in our groups and had a short briefing...there were 8 groups in total,abt 7 people in each group.

after the briefing we were given our name tags and a whistle,in case of emergency...and then we were given a white cloth which wld be our group flag and some markers...we had abt 30 to 45 mins to come up with a group name,design our flag and make up a warcry....cun...

my group leader was su tyng,members was owen,hafiz,kah fai,mi yuan,wang ying and me....we didnt know we were suppose to come up wif a name,we thought group 8 was our name..so blur lol...so i came up with a rhyme lol thank you....it goes like this

lol!swt case...so we put that on the flag and drew lightning over the number 8 in the middle of the flag...

so all the groups went in front one by one and intro their new names and shout their warcry...

LOL....OBVIOUSLY for group 2,aruna was their leader...i was ROFLMAO all the way non stop when they intro-ed themselves hahahahahahha....like who would think of that name wei!?!?!?so cunn!!!LOLLLLLL......and the funny part was that they said the whole group agreed with that name except aruna,the leader,but they went on with it anyway haha!

and dirty angels was john and kelly's group with john as their group leader...haha...i really like their warcry..go ask them if you wanna know wat it is...LOL..

well basically,this camp had a lot of games,lazy la nak explain all...so i'll just explain a few la...haha

anyway..so after that we had our 1st game called the blanket game...then we had to make our own fire to cook our lunch...each group was given 3 bricks,matches,those fuel cubes thingi...and food!!lol...as everyone said,we're so pampered by the committees haha...always jaga us so well,especially makan moments...haha..anyway,each group including us,were given 3 packs of 5-pack maggi mee,14 eggs,a pack of sausages and fishballs,a can of sardine and two cans of chicken curry....a lot wei..and it was just for lunch ..so we didnt finish cooking all the maggi mee and eggs la obviously lol...

sadly our fire died out halfway...so we pinjam-ed another group's fire place since they were already done with it...finished eating adi somemore...and sze mun,one of the committees was nice enough to help us to cook also..see us so sad our fire died out cant finish cooking lol..

after makan,cleaned up and all we went to pitch up our tents....4 ppl in a tent..pack giler ok...my tent mates were noel,vannessa and li zhen...haha..then we played a sort of like a race type of game where we collect clues which would lead us to another....we had a total of 5 clues and the last clue would show us where to 'rescue' one of our group member who was 'kidnapped' by one of the committees...we werent aware of that lol cos when we were sitting around discussing for our sketch which was supposed to be performed on the 2nd night,suddenly one of the committees said she needed to speak to mi yuan privately,so we thought it was some personal stuff watever la then suddenly we found out we got conned cos they were actually 'kidnapping' her for the game.LOL!so yeala we manage to 'rescue' her in the end and we were the 4th team to finish the game! XD

then after that we had to cook our own dinner too...but this time we were given rice...cooked adi la by the committees,they brought rice cooker la lol...so we just cook the other stuff...this time we were given a can of baked beans,chicken curry,sardine,another pack of fishballs and crabmeat stick and we still had some leftover eggs.so we borrowed some oil and fried an omelette!!john and kelly's group fry the rice together so they had nasi goreng telur...nice...

after that we went to shower and all la...was waiting quite long cos there were only 4 proper showers available...so was chatting la while waiting...made some friends..haha..

then we gathered around this nice big campfire the committees made...gathered in our groups again and we were all blindfolded cos doing some operasi burung hantu thingi...a mild one compared with the real thing the scouts do hahaha..told u we were pampered..

anyway..so we were blindfolded and leaded by the committees by holding the shoulders of the person in front forming a lil train untill a committee ask us to sit down,individually la of course...then we had to sit there for 30 mins without taking off our blindfolds....quite scary la at 1st...just tahan there...then i kept hearing footsteps of the committees and can see some light so i wasnt that scared la lol cos i know worst come to worst also im still quite near the campsite...we were also told to blow our whistle if we so called got freaked out by a ghost or wanna quit the game la...

after the game we were given twiggies for supper...lol..but i didnt eat la..chatted with su tyng,kelly and john for a while then went back to the tent to sleep....was quite stuffy in there so i went to get some air then went back again to try to sleep....didnt really sleep the whole night thou haha...

Day 2

woke up around 6.05am cos one of my tent mates,li zhen woke up liao haha...so all of us in the tent also wake up la...went with noel to brush teeth at a tap nearby cos the toilets doesnt have sinks...only one outside with a long hose attached to it...so yes..we didnt use any mirrors for 3 days...except for some of them who brought lil mirrors to camp haha....

gathered near the hall in our groups again for a warm up exercise before our breakfast...cos we would be hiking up the steep road to the area where we would be having our station games....

after the warm up and a lil bit of jogging,we had our breakfast which was sponge cakes,nesvita and milo...went to change and all before gathering round again to get ready to hike up the steeeeep road with everyone...

it was quite tiring cos as i said,it was steep,and quite a long way too...so we arrived there...went back to our groups again to play a game called charades,and i was the guesser,hehe...after that we were suppose to have our lunch but there was some slight delay or sumthin so we were just chatting around and later discussed our sketch with our groups again....so cute suddenly got an ice cream man came so most of us went and bought ice cream to eat...

then the committees came with their cars and gave us our lunch which was nasi goreng telur...quite nice la..haha...then rested again for a while before heading off for our station games!

there were 8 stations in total...and the last activity was rafting after the games..real cun!one of the stations was going through an obstacle course which was really fun....and there was one station where we had to go down the lil lake to find a key to open the lock...my team was the fastest on this one,i just baru took off my shoes and put my leg in then one of my teammates found the key liao lol...so i went and take back my handphone and all ,suddenly they all go go giler hyper throw me in the water,together with my hp!!i was like wth......so i had to take out my battery and sim card and let the phone dry...but to no avail..sobz...

then after all the stations we gathered at a spot and had a lil briefing from one of the rangers abt the rafting....we were split into two big groups,merging 4 groups la...so our group leader was aruna...and john was the leader for the other group..haha...both teams took about an hour to build the raft,overtime-d,cos we were suppose to only take 45 mins ,including goin into the lake and back...so we were sort of running late adi la...

so we took turns to go up the raft and 'sail' haha...but till the last round it started raining heavily...good thing that it was our last activity so all of us quickly walked back down the long steep road back to the campsite...but some of the girls were really cold so the committees fetched them back with the car....

and again we were chatting along the way...it was really a good and fun experience walking in the rain like that...laughing and chatting...haha...but kesian some kena headache and fever...

arrived back at the campsite where we gathered back at the hall...we were supposed to have a BBQ night but sadly cos of the rain,everything was wet,so no fire,no BBQ.sobz.but nvm cos the committees went and cook the food for us in the camp kitchen instead....they gave us donuts and curry puffs to fill our stomachs first while they cook when we went to have a shower....

wait pause,i must say this story 1st :

i was one of the 1st few who manage to shower 1st la..then after that the others like aruna,may ling,mi yuan,rebecca,yee mun etc still waiting,i just joined them and chat la...all the bimbo talk nonsense saying that we got tanner after the games under the sun and all LOL...then suddenly out of the world,a man came out from one of the cubicles...we were all like stunt jaw dropped there looking at him...he said he didnt know it was a female toilet,saying sorry and all,we were all like wuttt...haha...dunno he lying or not la but he really did take a shower la can see...he probably got freaked out hearing a bunch of girls storming in the toilet and talking bimbo talk all the way LOL...

anyway lets continue back,i love the seniors..they pamper us like babies..haha..they're so scared of not feeding us enough...

so cun,they cooked for us LAMB,chicken wings,prawns,fish,sausages,fishballs,crabballs,garlic bread etc...like duh,cun tet!!!come on wei,which camp everrr gives you these type of food?only SAC ACCA Camp!lol...so far la that i know...fuah see..they really sayang us...haha...

it was scheduled that all the groups were to perform that night after makan..but sadly since it was raining and everyone was dead tired...they decided to postpone it to the next morning....

so since it rained quite heavily and some of the tents were sort of flooded..kesian..so the committees decided to let ALL of us to sleep in the hall,cun!!so all of us went to get our sleeping bags and mats watever stuff to cover the whole hall...so cun!of course spilt la,guys one side,girls one side haha...

so the whole night we were just chatting round while those who were really tired went and sleep 1st...we tried playing the 3 word game but it didnt really work out cos it got dry after a while...so sad la i totally forgot to suggest the 'big fish small fish' game the whole 5 Zeta taught me last time haha...would be a fun game to play with so many people...

after that some of them went to sleep while some joined zarif's group with him saying jokes LOL...his jokes were funny...but most of them were dirty ones..swt..

basically was just hanging with su tyng,john and kelly la...listening to the songs on the phone and all...then it was lights out at 12am...so we all went to sleep...

when we were abt to sleep suddenly i heard john snoring super loudly and i told aruna who was next to me,then she started laughing like mad that she had to put the sleeping bag over her mouth to keep herself quiet...ROFL...well i only know that people cry to sleep,but this girl,laughed herself to sleep....im serious! ROFLMAO!!!

good thing of sleeping in the hall is that it was definetely more cooling than it was in the tent....but sadly still couldnt sleep well cos the space quite small la with everyone squashed together....limited space to turn here and there..haha..

Day 3

woke up slightly later today...couldnt remember the exact time thou...nothing much today thou..breakfast was some biscuits and stuff i dunno cos i didnt eat la..not hungry...after that everyone went and pack up their stuff and 'unpitch' the tents...

all of us gathered and played a few games...this time with everyone in a big circle...we played the game 'honey i love you.if you love me,please smile.' ,quite fun la haha...the rule is when the person comes up to you and say that,you're suppose to give them a straight face saying,'honey,i love you.but i just cant smile.'without smiling or laughing of course...or else kena la...i kena-ed from aruna...shes just too funny la..see her facial expression i started laugh adi...ROFLMAO

but then it got a bit dry and boring so we switched to another game where the game master which is one of the committee would choose a digit ,for example, the number "2",so all the gandaan 2 and numbers with the digit 2 in it must clap...so it goes round in a big circle...whoever wrong kena la...

after that it started to rain so we gathered in the hall and played 'chop chilli,chop chilli, chop chop chop'!super fun...but we didnt manage to go one whole big round without any mistakes haha....so the 1st round of the ones who kena-ed had to do some 15 poses in the middle of the circle....haha..the 2nd round of punishment for the ones who kena-ed was doing catwalk...was really cun and funny haha...

then after that nothing much adi la...they announced the winners which was printz(1st place),dirty angels(2nd place) and 3-ster(3rd place)...since there wasnt enough time so only the 3 winning teams performed their sketch...then after that we had photography session with all the campers and each group and just basically SS-ing
around la...haha...

we had chicken rice for lunch...was our last moment to gather round together...so sad..sobz..cos after this its back to the hectic study life of CAT/ACCA again...around 3 something the bus came and we all went back to college... :)

btw,if ur wondering,my phone is ok now,i let it dry in the sun and its working.yay!

anyway,so ya thank God for this camp la...there were some who were injured and sick but at least nothing bad really happened...it was really a great and fun experience and i also made new friends!yay!im sooo going for the next camp organized by SAC!

ya btw,the pics would come a bit later,sorry,cos i didnt bring my camera to camp,i'll upload some here when i get the pics...so sabar sabar ya...

praise God baby,woohoo~!!!! i passed p5 by ONE MARK!!!! like wuttttt???!?! its really a close call mann...so happy that i passed...God does answer prayers...but then i really gotta take this as a well learnt lesson..NEVER EVER study last minute for professional exams,EVER!thats why i gotta change my studying habit...no more mistakes again...its so close....mannn.....

wakakakaka....the title says it y'all,im selected for NS!woohoo~!sorta happy i guess haha but too bad la cos i will have to postpone since im already studying now in college...gotta finish up my acca 1st la...but i guess i wld be 20 by then...doesnt matter la hahaha...haizz why la soooo pandaiiii go jump classss...why la...(no.1 perasan world prize winner XD)

i kinda like the idea abt NS,but not all that also,but since im adi chosen for it,so imma list down the pros and cons....

pros:
1.i love marching(duh,hang tuah commander y'all!)
2.the uniforms are nice and babily,like me XD
3.u get to meet new people and make new friends
4.tan is hot
5.i like those obstacle courses stuff,its fun
6.u get free stuff and allowance
7.dapat keep fit,which is good!

cons:
1.being away from my family and friends
2.washing my own clothes(yes im dependent which is quite bimbo-tic,sorry la)
3.new enviroment,bunk beds,with so many unknown people
4.bathing with so many people,i know la got shower but still...
5.going to the toilet in the dark
6.there might be weird trainers,trainees,food etc

haha...but anyway...im sorta looking forward to it thou...but that wld be in 3 years time...provided if i pass all my exams...which i hope i would haha...so yeala i did this post to update my blog la since so long didnt update adi...

k la...recap a bit ....went to the chempaka welfare home on 29th july,sunday, for our moral studies assignment...our whole group,20 of us went...ok la quite fun playing with the kids and all....went there to paint and clean up the home...bought pizza for them...played some games...gave out some presents and all...overall was good la..everything went as planned XD...i brought my guitar too but sadly tak sempat play some songs for the kids la...had to chow adi...

yeap...so i had my 1st driving lesson on the 30th july,monday!woohoo~!!yeah mann it was awesome!my instructor,uncle chai is so cun la he!really thank God for him!hes sorta old adi la but what can u expect la 34 years of experience wei...so for the 1st lesson i expected to go to the driving school la then mana tau half way driving he stop then ask me to drive to usj3 the industrial factories there haha!cos not many cars ma,so ok la in the end the whole lesson just learn to go around on the road....was fun la...as i said,1st time driving ma...sure la fun...hehe..and the best part was uncle chai let me drive back home for the 1st lesson!haha...according to him la k...most instructors only let their students drive back after a few lessons but NEVER for the 1st time...oni he let la for his students...haha!so cun!

k la thats it la i guess...for now,i have my progress test 1 next week! and my results for p3,4,5 will be out on 20 august....oooo scary...1st time receving results y'all...p1 n p2 cbe dont count la that one haha....

so ya...and i also signed up for the ACCA camp which is from 31 aug to 2nd sept!its gonna be my 1st camp other than cf camp!hahaha..yeala im noob...im definetely looking forward to this camp thou,woohoo~!! but sadly that means i gotta miss the 'see you at the pole' thing cf su has every year for merdeka day...haizz...so yeala thats it...i'll probably update abt my results on my next post...pass or fail nvm la...surrender it all to God la...of course its best if i pass thou.. =)

Asia Pacific Masters Dance Championship 2007

yeah man!its the Asia Pacific Masters Dance Competition 2007!!haha...its a dancing competition consist of line dance,belly dance and hip hop,both individuals and teams dancers from the asia pacific region woohoo~~!!there were dancers from singapore,indonesia,phillipines,sri lanka,iran coming to compete..cun!and also some UK ppl performing!the competition was organized by Joyclub Academy and sponsored by Lee Kum Kee and it was held in Shangri-La hotel!!cun!

haha...yeah...i really thank God and my mom for the awesome connections!i got to help out for the registration and be part of the crew!my 1st crew t-shirt!woohoo~!and theres two,both collared,one white one black!im so happy to be part of it!

i followed aunty ys's car with aunty daphne and some other aunties to go to the hotel around 7am....arrived there...changed to the crew shirt...attire was jeans and the white crew shirt...so we got the lists,gift bags,food and all that ready while waiting for the dancers to come n register from 8am onwards...aunty daphne and me was in charge for belly dance and hip hop....since the majority were line dancers so there wasnt as much work for us compared to the other counter...haha...

so yeah was helping out the whole day...had a lil break in between and i went to the 'judges and committee room' to grab sumthin to eat...then met some of the other helpers/runners there too...most of them were some of the organizers,committee ppl punye son or daughter la haha...thats why i said i thank God for the connection that my mom had cos some of her friends involved in the organizing n all...haha..so anyway yeah...made frens with some of them..kinda cool...so had some temans other than the aunties(haha!)to hang out with...

around lunch time it was chicken rice for everybody...haha...so i went back to the registration counter to collect the lunch coupons and distribute chicken rice for everyone haha...and also checked up on the dancers to see if they had enough chilli,cucumber,spoons...running up and down the whole time...XD

after lunch i hanged out with some of my new friends the helpers which was rachelle,valerie and victor,mind u ppl,they r only like 11 and 10 yrs old LOL but they r really gd mann...as in exposed la and kinda matured...they can talk well and know how to do stuff...guess they been kinda involved in all these helping out stuff...hang out as in just went round and chat up wif some of the dancers la since the day time competition only ends around 4 sumthin.the night event was the finals.

anyway,yeah,it was really cool!cos there 4 of the "so u you think you can dance" dancers there,which were dennis,niki,chris and becky!didnt really talked to chris and becky cos chris was one of the judges there and becky was one of the competitors for line dancing....dennis and niki was there to watch la...so yeah man it was kinda cool just chatting with them....dennis did his backflip and beatboxing thing and he said he learned beatboxing online...cun..haha!niki did some handstands and danced a lil for some of the kids,cun!she also gave me some tips for that...haha cos my handstand balance still not gd enough...the kids were also dancers la....but during break they actually came n asked for their autograph,so cute!was a real cool feeling la...cos was just talking to celebs like normal friends only...haha...ok la they r not really that celeb but still...really reminds me of the time when i went for the inter fan club futsal tournament in 2005 where i 1st met all the pinkies...i felt so welcomed and was talking to nita,farah,paul moss n the rest like normal oni...not bragging la its true...thats why now i know the tactic adi...go for events like this where theres no pressure...haha!XD

other than that was also chatting with another two hip hop crews which was 'style from beyond' from s'pore and 'vibes crew' from the phillipines!the only two hip hop groups from outside malaysia...the other groups were just plain lala mann...so yeah u know it goes..if u aint their type..sorry la...they wont talk to u...haha..anyway so yeah made friends and chat up with the other two crews....both also had some breakdancing in their routine...most of them in both crews were breakers....there were some bgirls too..they are cun wei...respect!theres a guy named bono from vibes crew,hes real cun la,i guess hes got some gymnastic background...he can do super high backflips!and also both crews were really friendly ppl!though i did not manage to rmb all of their names..haiz..but it was really fun just getting to know them!

so yeap...around 5 sumthin followed aunty daphne and aunty ys to go up to one of the rooms in the hotel to bathe la...to help out again for the night event...cos this time theres a sit down dinner so there will be more ppl coming...so this time is collecting the tickets of the guests....changed to the black crew shirt...attire was white pants and the black crew shirt la...ntg much happened la after dat...was half helping for the tickets ,half helping to usher ppl to their tables and all...then after that watched a bit of the finals la....really respect some of the young kids...they really got talent!esp the group 'viva champs'...im officially their fan la..those small lil girls so semangated and cute!they made it to the finals and got 2nd place!and btw 'vibes crew' from the phillipines won 1st place and 'style from beyond' 2nd!congratz to them,they really deserved it!XD..oh ya i also heard becky sapu 1st title all the categories she joined...cun wei she...but sadly i left early to go back home ,early as in 11 sumthin haha..cos got coll the next day..

oh yea another note...sorry cos theres no pics...i was dumb enough to not bring my camera...scared heavy...wasted...but nvm la..haha..i hv the sweet memories in my mind....XD..riteee

so anyway i really enjoyed myself la...really gd experience for me...so happy!get to meet cun dancers...make friends...socialise...help out...yeah man..really thank God for this opportunity!highlights me study days!and i already volunteered for the next year's one which wld be in sept 2008 for 3 days in a row!wow!cos they say crammed to one day too stress adi...too many competitors!

Subang Rally 2007

yeah man its subang rally again...woohoo~!!the theme for this year's is "Lift for the Leap"...nice..so well its my turn this time to be an ex senior to come back...no more usher haha...i miss those days..n now im registering under the category "Others"..no more SU...anyway the shirt this year is real nice...

yeah...so i went with my bro to summit taking the mini bus cos no transport....my bro's 1st time taking public bus,wakakaka...we got up around 6 sumthin..got ready and all and went to the ktm station to catch the bus to summit around 7 sumthin....

got there around 8.20am...quite a lot of ppl there adi...met back me f4 and f3 peeps sue mae,jen li,min shen,chooi si,serena,rachel,inez,angeline,astrid,ju yinn,siong ann,gok heng and many more...sorry if i forgot to list ya names...anyway...was hanging around till 9am oni they started the session....

morning session was gd...but i had to leave around 12 sumthin to go back to college for me moral studies from 1 to 4pm...yeah man...sucky time..moral on a saturday afternoon...haha...i couldnt afford to miss it esp its the 1st class somemore....so yeah...i took the bus to arrive at pyramid 1st cos the oni bus that goes to coll comes by ktm and pyramid is the bus num 66.....but i was dumb enough to not plan my timing right...n the theres oni one 66 bus,i think.so i waited for the 66 bus to arrive,then i realise that its last stop would be sunway coll cos it just came from there....NOOO...n it was adi 1.10pm...so i paid 80 sens just for the bus to drop me further on from pyramid to the hotel inns road there to walk to coll instead....thx to a fren from g3 which i met on the bus...she told me the way to walk there..yes im blur,7 mths adi still dunno how to walk to pyramid from coll...but now i know...XD

anyway...came to class late almost 1.45pm but gd thing the lecturer didnt ask anything...haha...so yeah..moral..we hv to do this project thingi to visit either an orphanage or old folks home...me group chose orphanage...so after class ended i went n took bus back to summit....

arrived back at summit audi around 4.30pm....the afternoon session just ended...so after that i went with sue mae,jen li,astrid,ju yinn they all to makan sumthin la....went to kfc...chattin n sharing lame jokes with each other hahaha...nice time bonding...cos i cant go for SU cf adi this whole sem...so i guess the oni time i can meet them again would be "see you at the pole" on 31 aug...hopefully i can drive adi by that time...XD

anyway...we got back to the audi around 6.45pm....cos most of them were ushers,security and all so they had to get back there early....so i was just hanging around and joined ee xin and yosef who came to summit adi n were in kfc also LOL....they were coming for the night concert...

the night concert was really awesome!praise n worship session was great....n it was pastor sandra speaking!yeah man....shes really funny...great message according to the theme lift for the leap....getting ur foundation in Gods Word and rooted right...not giving in to social ills nonsense..n keeping on track wif God till the day u die..yeap...

so yeah...thats abt it...went home around 11.30pm...n just went to sleep..was really tired..haha...anyway...praise God for the rally!woohoo~!

2nd sem of college

ya mann....after 3 weeks of break after exams...its back to college again..but recap a bit la...i went for my undang exam last monday and i passed! 44/50! yay~~~and its my 1st time!i was kinda scared and paranoid when i heard the stories of ppl retaking it 2 to 3 times haha...so thank God la i pass...

anyway...back to coll stuff...this time my subjects are p6,p7,p8 n p9.well,intro intro sikit la....my group which is group 2,now merge with group 3 to form a new class la...but for p7,8,9 oni...p6 we still study as group 2 by ourselves...well,we got new lecturers for all the 4 papers...which is good..at least something fresh...XD

well...im quite happy and satisfied with my new time table this sem...even though we have classes everyday from mon to fri,which means i hv to miss cf SU from now on,its cos its really well spreaded out,compared to our last sem and other classes....so its gd la..can concentrate better...and not so tired oso...

as they said,1st impressions do count,XD.so i will comment a bit on the 1st impression i got from my all new 4 lecturers...XD...for p6-'drafting financial statements',we got mr jana....hahahaha...really funny dude wei...he actually tricked John into thinking that he was a new student!!LOL....n John believed him hahaha...until he came to the front of the class and intro-ed himself as the lecturer...John got zha-ed like crap wei....hahaha.. anyway in class he keeps making us laugh with the lame jokes and all...but a really experienced lecturer la...is serious when we need to be serious...

for p7-'planning,control and performance measurement',we got ms voon sia....really young lecturer la....shes ok la...but sadly shes a bit like ms pay ling's type...boring a bit la...but at least i dont sleep la still can pay attention...haha!but when she crack lame jokes..we just laugh,dont care gd joke or not,cos we just love laughing...XD

and p8-'audit',the paper everyone is most scared of....we got ms joyce...pretty cool lecturer...really young also...talks real cool...knows when to joke and when to be serious...shes got a really really good sense of humour..i mean cmn wei,she actually put a humour page in our notes for us to read if we are bored! and also her hearing is very sharp wei...so dont ever,ever talk abt anything so called 'confidential' if shes there LOL.jk la,but my classmates would know what i mean,XD,esp enya and fei cheng.and shes like pn susela who taught my form 5 class sejarah in sec sch last time,she can run thru reading the notes REAL FAST.she can be a rapper wei.

for p9-'taxation',we got ms ruzi.shes err i dunno...30plus?hahaha....anyway...shes real cool too...cracks jokes at times but also know when to be serious...but shes kinda strict too..so dont ever mess with her...i rmb the 1st few things she said to us in our 1st class with her on wed.she said,"taxation can be like hell for u,OR,kacang putih.u choose." fuiyoh....scary mann...hahah....but still shes a nice lecturer la...XD

so yeah...thats all abt me new lecturers..well...all i can say is thank God la..cos everything is running smoothly now...got great classmates,cun time table and awesome lecturers...im just a lil worried abt my coming results of p3,p4 and p5 in 20 august which im gonna receive from UK via email! i just hope n pray hard i can pass all,esp my p5.i aint wanting to resit for that.but anyway,i cant do anything abt it now,just leave it into God's hands.

well since i adi learn my lesson of NOT trying to study last minute for CAT,cos its superrrrr pressuring and stress....somemore now its advanced level of CAT with harder papers...im adi revising for my papers and actually doing homework for the 1st time since college.i hv to change my studying habit la no choice.one of my weakness is studying la,but now with God,prayer and some discipline haha,im trying my best to revise my work everyday,so i dunt repeat the same mistake for my dec finals,praise God for this.XD.btw,its hari keluarga tmr! so check it up on me next post..

Tarian Muhibbah 彩荟之舞

woohoo~~!! so it was the day i waited for~~tarian muhibbah!!!in case y'all wondering!!its some line dancing event organized by MCA n other organizations to achieve a Malaysian Book of Records cun tet breakin record of 10,000 ppl to line dance at dataran merdeka for VMY 2007!!!woohoo!!!

even though we oni manage to get 8,571 ppl,it doesnt matter cos we still broke the previous record in year 2003 with 7000plus ppl!woohoo! i feel so proud to take part in this n be in Malaysia Book of Records even though im just one person to make that number!weee~~~!!excuse my hyper-ness!!!

aite aite...lets start out on what happened....i followed my mom there with her gang of mummys in a bus with some other mummys as well from puchong and sunway...i had to wake up at 5.30am...got ready and went with my mom and her friend,aunty daphne and her teacher,aunty linda to 3K to wait for the bus at 6am!! met some of the other mummies there and chatted a bit while waiting for the bus.went up on the bus,the bus driver was as hyper as us!hahahaha!!he started saying 'zou san!zou san!lai lai lai...' to us and he aint chinese k.....'zou san' as in good morning in canto...haha so hyper la everyone...and they are all 40 to 50 plus yr old mummys k dont play play....except me la XD!

then after that the bus went to puchong to pick up more mummys...cos he adi adi pick up us sunway and subang ppl....then after that headed off to dataran merdeka!!!

whoa cun tet when i arrived there wei....btw i havent been there to dataran merdeka before...yeala i masih noob...n we thought we were early..pls la...so many ppl there adi wei!!buses coming in non stop dropping ppl off! and the best part was everyone was wearing diff colours!!!n it actually represented all the seven rainbow colours!!my whole bus of mummys and my colour was blue!

so after we got dropped off,we went to register ourselves and get our food and drink using our coupon....met lixian,adeline wan and sin dee there!!! cos i found out kinda last minute that sunway college was also sending ppl out for this event!!! but i thought it was only for a levels so i didnt join them!!! i even went for one of their practice!!! anyway..their colour was dark blue...or as in rainbow colour is indigo la...i think...haha!but haiz tak sempat take a pic with them!

so everyone was hanging around and eating and chatting away...there was other booths with sponsors like maggi,nescafe,fitnesse etc la...they were giving free food!!cun!!
dataran merdeka is just awesome mann!!its such a nice big field!!!hahah!!!n the weather was great man,praise God! so it didnt feel congested whatever...was having a great time...

so around 9am like dat everyone got into their lines according to colours....then typical stuff la...sing negaraku..listen to the datuk-datuks speeches....haha so funny la...that moment seriously felt like i was back in sec sch sports day or sumthin haha...with all the colours...except this is so much more grand with datuks and mummys lining up!!!hahahah!!!! but then...i also saw some really young kids around also,so cute!! and guys also...young and old....so cun! and they all so cun wei cos they are from all over malaysia!they came all the way for this event,some of them were in the bus from 3-4am,some of them even came the night before!so we did a roll call from all states,n these mama's can scream ok!like so concert mann...in the morning!haha!

so after all that...we started the dance!!!cos its tarian muhibbah,so theres 3 dances to represent the 3 biggest races in malaysia!!but then they added another dance but it was quite simple la so everyone can follow...so the 1st dance was 'man chang fei',2nd was 'made in india',3rd was 'zapin' and the 4th and new one was 'joget'!! so we dance the whole thing twice la...quite cun...and it looked awesome on the big screen!!all the colours together look like some merdeka thingi with the ppl making images/pictures with their colours wei!

then it was lucky draw time...but what can u expect la right...out of few thousand ppl...so duh obviously we didnt win haha....then some mama's were still dancing away cos they put other songs for them to dance too after the whole record breakin event was over...haha..then some of us took pics!!!

so after the whole thing 11am..we called the bus driver and waited for our bus...was super tired...slept a bit on the bus...

after that came back home and then followed my dad to a Leo party at PJ in some indian restaurant called Nacomste?swt i forgot.. cos they got top club...3 clubs which were Leo club smk sultan abdul samad,Leo club smk jinjang and omega Leo club KL unity...so gotta to know some of them la...kinda cool....after that came back around 10 something...online for a while then tidur la...so yea thats all..XD

praise God for the tarian muhibbah event!it wouldnt be such a success without Him,the weather was great,the organizers planned everything well and the emcees, helpers and participants were all nice...so yeah..woohoo!

sick of this dying world...

im feeling like so sick of this worldly world...feel like just getting away from everything...but as said,earth aint our home...its just temporary...

anyway..the idea of me posting this up was cos there are so many ppl out there especially teens and youths who are giving up in life and being emo and all sorts of stuff...its really heartsick when i see all these happening...i really just wanna give a shout out to the ppl out there that you DONT NEED a certain someone or whoever for that matter to tell u whether u are good/pretty/handsome/skillfull/smart etc enough to do anything...dont get depressed over it..its pointless...

i mean come on...why be worried over someone who is just a mere man who hates u when u hv God who actually came to the world to sacrifice for u..i mean it totally makes so much sense to not care abt what others think when theres someone else much better n bigger which is God who cares for u...of course i know its hard..but when ur facing it..think abt God for a moment and His sacrifice..

you talk abt love stories and how much the bf or gf sacrifice for each other but hv u checked out the greatest love story ever?!?! Its Jesus the Son of God who actually came down to earth just to die for us unworthy sinful ppl! can u imagine?? we are in such a bad state that it would had to take God's own begotten Son to die for us to take the place for the punishment for our sins,which results to eternal hell!

i know this may sound like oh kimberly is becoming like some religious freak but its not that.i just had to get it out,i cant take it anymore seeing ppl going around living without God in their life.i admit i do have the fear of man and that its stopping me from spreading the gospel to ppl,especially my friends.i rmb i read somewhere that says to let compassion overcome/swallow up the fear of man...

i cant go on seeing the people around me,my relatives and friends going around living a life with problems and heartaches and all...i really hurts me too u know that??? cos i have this life with God where i can depend on Him n put my trust in Him and feel the joy and peace that only He can give and im not sharing it with them?!?! its just like when ur friend's house is on fire and u live next door and have loads of water but u never even offer it to them to help,but instead just dont care,for example la.

when i think of this,i feel so overwhelmed cos im not offering them the gospel which is abt Jesus and what He did for us but instead just lousy empty advices.

i really really do care for my friends.thats why im posting this.i really wanna share with all of u how God has changed my life so much that i dunno what i would be today if it wasnt for Him who came into my life.

i wasnt from a christian background just to make it clear.i wasnt raised up going to church and sunday schools n all.nope.

i accepted Christ and became a believer just 3 years ago in 2004 when i was in form 3.and i have never regretted a single moment of it.God has delivered me from addictions that i would have never thought of ever giving up which was cybersex and pornography.
God changed my heart that i was able to forgive the ppl that i had so much grudge on and hated.there was no way,absolutely no way any moral education,friends advices,books whatsoever that could hv ever done that for me except God.He took away the evil desires in my heart,just like that.

im not saying that im now super holy whatsoever.im just saying that God is real,whether u want to believe it or not.He can change ur life a 180 degrees,just like mine,u just need to believe in Him,as simple as that.as said,dont complicate the simplicity of the truth.rmb,Jesus is the way,the truth and the life.He is the mediator between God and man.and there is no other name than His which was written in heaven given unto man who is the Saviour and Salvation of the world.only He can give u salvation and offer u a place in heaven.

to my relatives,friends and whoever who read this,i love all of u too much to not NOT tell u the truth,even if im going to lose friends and be persecuted over this,so be it.i dont want to keep on living on keeping Jesus to myself,i have to share the gospel with u,im telling u n guaranteeing u that this is it,this is the answer.Jesus is the answer.

God is the best thing that has happened in my life.EVER.

yeap so it was spm results day yesterday...kinda satisfied with my result..=).just wanna thank God for helping me through f4,f5 n spm till now...its been tiring,rough and so forth but its alright...i got what i deserved...

haha sorry it seems that im behind everyone in blogging abt college life...cos i dont hv a habit of blogging actually..anyway..yea so i got enrolled in sunway college for the CAT programme/course in Jan 07 intake,which would end this december and moving on to ACCA part 2 straight away next year.im shock myself for goin in 1st intake,cos i was still clueless on what to do even in dec when spm was already over..so i gotta give credits to God for leading the way n choosing this course.even though i wasnt so keen on this course at 1st,it somehow felt right.n also im adapting to it better now. :)

well maybe i would still need some time to get used to college but i actually miss secondary school because basically well i have more time to do other stuff like practicing in the band,dance,societies etc despite having tuitions.and now in college i dont really have the time,so u can imagine how pack it is,actually its not that bad la the time tables,its just that in school,despite the long hours everyday,partly u only like REALLY concentrate a couple of hours only in class,where as in college its like every class u attend u have to pay full attention and concentration or else BYEEE...no tuition to save u now y'all...haha thats why its tiring..no time for other stuff..

anyway stop la abt the ranting...college life is also quite fun..u get to meet lots of new ppl..find out where u stand..made some friends..joined some societies..oh yea btw im in a crew now!woohoo!we r called 'united plus one',consists of bboys from indon,msia n one from japan.haha..got to practice a couple times with them...well at least that really brighten my tired days of studying...yeap i also joined sunway-monash's cf!they r real nice bunch of ppl...all real friendly n caring..attended their session every thursday except for once cos i was sick..love their publicity cos they will hang this fluorescent bright yellow flyer like practically every notice board u find haha...so most new comers every week would say they knew about cf through the flyers..well actually,me 2!!from the flyers they were giving out during my orientation day..

oh yea moving on to the subjects..well so far we only hv 3 lecturers for our 5 papers,which is P1,P2,P3,P4 and P5.P1 is ok la cos its actually learning the basics of accts from scratch which is basically just f4 n f5 stuff like document,income statement(penyata pendapatan),balance sheet(kunci kira-kira!!),back reconciliation statement(penyata penyesuaian bank),control accts etc.so im quite happy with it cos duh,all learn before ma..haha..but still la cannot slack off..sunway is crazy cos they give tests like almost every week k...but its good la,so u know where u stand..

we havent started on P3 yet,after cny only,but apparently its something like
P1,just more complicated la.we hv the same lecturer for P2 n P4..P2 is 'information for managament control' n P4 is 'accounting for costs'. something a bit new for me the terms n all but still ok la ,can cope.well my 1st impression of my lecturer for these two subjects was actually that she is REAL boring..not mentioning any names here..lol BUT BUT now she changed my perception towards her..shes actually REAL funny!!in a weird way la..haha..its like her jokes r cold-ly funny...her jokes are like so cold that we laugh at them..haha..btw i guess im back to my old nerd self in primary school sitting in right in front for her classes cos i tried middle and back but with her teaching,well for me at least, i NEED to be in front to understand k,lol.

ok moving on to P5.i acutally find this paper interesting cos its something i thought i would not be studying/learning in CAT,yes im blur.this paper is called 'managing people and systems'.its abt U being in the position of a manager.so u gotta learn abt communication,leadership,teamwork etc..kinda interesting ...really gotta thank the lecturer for making it so interesting...shes so funnay!!her jokes r so spontaneous n made right from the spot..love the originality..but sometimes i thinks she tries too hard LOL...

ya i just remembered ...theres LAN!haha so far we only have two classes...cos its on a saturday n our progess tests r on saturdays...well most of us rather sit for tests than going for LAN i think lol cos our lecturer is trying too hard to be cool that its boring,in my opinion.LAN is 3 hours k,so long mann...cos our LAN classes r quite big,combining CAT students from other classes also which comes up to almost 200 students,so duh we have to do it in the lecture theatre so sadly,no one listens to her.thats why im saying shes trying too hard.if she werent,ppl will listen to her.and also when shes on the mic,shes always giving unnecessary pauses,for exp:"btw ppl *pause* do u know why *pause* ur here? *pause* ".it does not sound cool or professional it actually becomes dumb after a while.its like u cant pay attention to her properly.ok enough complaining lets all move on.:)

err i thinks thats abt it...will blog more if theres any interesting events going on..but for now,its preparing for cny and just studying for exams...our real one for P1 n P2 is on the 10th of march.like abt one month away,btw,we have 9 papers for the whole year..AAHH!haha..k la,check out my next post on my recent gig.this post too long liao...

SU Prom Night 2006

ahh yes...its my promised post on SU's prom night 2006!well it wasnt as cun as i was expecting it to be...ok la i did enjoyed it....i didnt take much pics on cam thou was too bz talking n chatting haha...well overall was ok la...the music was a bit off for me...starting part still ok...wif the band 'disagree' then after that it was boring adi...like all rock non stop ok,at least some variety la...

the highlight was i got to meet ashraf sinclair n joe flizzow n manage to take pics wif them!!that was cool la..i was so blur i didnt even know ashraf was gonna be our prom host.then just before the whole thing started i saw him alone so i quickly went to him n ask for a pic haha,not to brag la ok,but after i did that,like woah ok,suddenly so many ppl approached him for a pic too.i rmb he acted in the show 'realiti' on 8tv!but its over adi la thou...its a show abt 5 ppl joining "Malaysian Star",which actually is a copied version of MI n all the conflicts in it la.n he acted as one of the contestants.so cool!n ya i also finally managed to meet joe flizzow!!!yes im a fan...i wanted to meet him adi so long but i missed the few times he came to our sch,like the time during Hari Keluarga in 2003 and the 1st Sumbangsih in 2004!ugh..but anyway finally got to meet him n took a pic with him.yes,i love hip hop.

anywayzzz..went to the after prom party organized by the 'extremes' n im glad that highlighted the whole night.didnt hang around long at the party thou,went back around 12 something..haiz should hv so brought clothes to change lol,then could hv break a bit,dress is so not the gear for dancing for me ok.

yo hey ppl...like almost half a year i didnt update wow....ok ok ppl its not that i dont hv a life that ntg is goin on ok...its just too lazy la...well quick updates..my class won 2nd place for the bball inter class league in july!weee!!yes ...we hv our own jersey n im the oni girl in the whole form 5 who took part...yes its true..haha...n octaves plus gamma bbq part cum khong yi qings bday cun mooncake festival celebration during oct...

ya many things goin on around...trials la..spm la..prom la...anyway my trials were okay la..hope spm would be cun la...yes finally,i never imagine this day..spms over!!!yes!!love the freedom-ness...it rocks...got a whole to do list after spm..gonna start doin it...yes the whole hot topic...PROM!!yes im way excited for it..gonna be cool n cun..now just need to shop for it...buy the dress,shoes,accessories n stuff la..

now i just found out that i have some 'talent' for impromptu poem-ing.not bragging la ok ,im just saying aite.cos its like every autograph bk i write for someone i write then a poem,i love rhyming poems ,cos it feels so like rap verses haha..actually practically writing like rap verses except say it slow-mo then it sounds like a poem..quite cun la..cos i really like hip hop,well i can write lyrics but dunno whether can rap it out..dont think i hv the 'cool' voice to do it...haha...

improving in breakin n guitar-ing...now that my band octaves is like hanging hanging i dun even noe whether we r gonna continue performing or wat...or spilt?haiz...anyway i so wanna be in a crew la for dancing...im just so addicted to performing...now i know why its always the same ppl performing for wat so ever events everytime anywhere cos performing is really addicting...n fun...sorry la to the stage fright ppl...i love stages..ok im being so hyper n high now...since its after spm...dont worry i will definetely upload pics on prom..which is next tuesday,dec 12.but i will post all of them in my multiply thou,just a few nice ones here la...

CF Camp 2006

camp was from 6 to 9 june in pines resort,frasers hill with the theme P.A.R.T.Y. which stands for Preaching About Revival Through Youth.oh ya,my roommates were yeh hoong n viven.we were divided into groups,n i was the group leader for my group,Mt.Carmel!but even then we got second last out of 12 groups after calculating up the scores haha!

wow too much to talk abt this adi..so will just say it real brief...well this year's camp was just amazing...and im sure the after camp effect has changed many of us.well really thank God for recieving the give of tounges during the camp and the chance for me to share my testimony.

this camp made realise my mistakes n that we should never ever judge a person before u even know them well.and also that rumours are usually twist n turned already so u might not be getting the real story which means we shouldnt believe it.

well didnt really manage to take a lot of pics cos of the activities that is always advised not to bring camera,hp and stuff...this year's camp was really amazing,thank God for sustaining the committees n the pastor throughout this whole camp n for hearing our prayers out and answering it.Gods presence in the camp especially during sessions was greatly felt.im sure every1 agrees too.all praise goes to God.

Leo Forum 2006

Leo forum was from may 28th to the 30th,right when the sch holidays started.basically just an event where all the Leo clubs from malaysia,singapore n brunei gather together to recieve awards..socialize...n stuff...kinda cool btw..well this year it was in the Zon Regency Hotel in Johor.

we gathered at SMKSJ around 5 am n took off around 5 sumthin.we shared bus wif the leos from sri kl and usj4.n ya i was shock to see brian ooi haha,he is a sri kl leo now.apparently we were the group who took off the earlierst but arrived the latest.so malu to know that our group was the latest who arrived the hotel for the opening ceremony.it was cos there were 3 buses following each other n unneccesary stops which took forver,and also problems like the bus driver doesnt know wheres the hotel.so ya,that was why we were late.

anyway i had to share room wif 3 other girls from some other sch,ee von and michelle from smk batu lapan and rachel from smk usj13.didnt manage to take a pic of all 4 of us thou haha.

well the zon regency hotel which was the hotel we stayed in was suppose to be known as some 5 star hotel but well everything in the hotel was so not.we had to call housekeeping 3 times before they gave us extra blankets and i was speaking manglish wif the operator,kinda cool thou haha.the hot water flask or however u spell it was dirty n rusted that none of us dared to use it,so in the end i didnt eat my cup mee haha.and they say 5 star hotel konon.kesian sook yee had to pay RM5 for each mineral water bottle she ordered from room service,it seriously shocked her somemore when the bill came saying RM22,she ordered 4 bottles n well RM 2 was for service charge.so well ya it shocked her.

i forgot whether it was the 1st or 2nd night that jaspreet couldnt open her luggage bag cos the lock was jammed...so we had to call maintainence to help us n well the guy pratically saw-ed the lock so well i guess she kept the key as a memory haha...

oh ya yay!i won an award!an Outstanding Alpha New Leo Award!lol but i joined leo since form 1...anyway nvm..got an award happy adi la..anyway there were 17 of us who went n also we came back wif total of 17 awards!!

MSSD Basketball Tournament

well im really glad n thank God that i manage to get on the girls U-18 team this year cos last year i was erm underage n the U-15 team was full.so this year is my 1st n last year playing in the sch team.we oni had 4 days to practice,2 of those days with a coach so well yea we kinda suck.other teams had been training early this year,some even last year....sadly no group pic of all of us together wearing our jerseys..

so the game today is 10 to 11am against Usj 4 n well theres some girl called by the name Chong was there so it means dead chance of winning n erm well we lost badly.but hey at least we got to play against someone hot?haha...Chong is seriously hot wif her spiked hair n stuff...if she were a guy,i would so fall for her but since shes not,Soray!!puh lease....

so the postponed Usj 8 game was at 3pm n well these girls r way meaner n aggressive than Usj 4,talk abt getting trashed up on the court n yes we lost again which means no semi finals...talk abt oni playing 2 games in the sch team for a whole year...

the girls U-15 had a game wif Usj 13 today at 4-5pm as their semi finals game n they won by 2 points!!it was so close n they pulled through...cun...

yes its unity dinner!!finally!!for the 1st time ever i became in charge of security..usually its just usher in cf n leo..talk abt sien-ness???finally something different...yay!the whole dinner thing was really successful n im super impressed n happy that the hall can be so chunted wif the lights n decorations stuff...PA system is 100 times better than block D..the only thing they lack is a chandelier haha...i seriously i dont get why some ppl say it suck..probably they r just jealous..ugh..it rock out loud duh?

so today was sports day...the day i had been waiting since forever!!!super excited abt the marching squad duh??been practicing n i really wanted to win!!n we did!!well erm 2nd place at least,we beat lekir!!!ahhh even the tuah bods n teachers were shocked? talk abt ppl underestimating me,ling hui n the squad???come on!!anyway couldnt hv done this without God so thank Him for all this.

yes..so it was IU day...everything went well..really glad for them...even though oni 150 ppl turned up at least we enjoyed the performance..it was really good,a real something to remember...shuffling!!!omgosh the lala guys shuffling was so cun especially with the blinking light effects which shows like as if they move slow motion like the ones u see in video clips..it was so cool cos i hv never seen something like this like LIVE!!ahh yes im a noob..move on to the pics..

Chinese Language Society's Membership Drive 2006

so today was the chinese language society's membership drive !and in chinese its called 'Ying Xin Hui',get the dictionaries bananas :p,anyway so yeap,its our 5th gig!
we were called back for an encore cos we won last year.yay!so was chin chin who won 1st in the solo singing category.the dance group too.there was also a fashion show but i didnt manage to take any pics thou.haihz.

Chinese New Year

sorry for not updating..kinda bz...plus the activities n pics oni come during the hols.i cant really remember exactly what happen during the week so it would kinda brief.

1st day
went to my grandmothers hse.then was forced to go temple as usual.ntg much on the 1st day.

2nd day
went to my grand uncle kenny's condo for dinner.family union,my grandmothers side,apparently we have 98 ppl in the Yeo family tree.my grandmother surname is Yeo.well oni 60 sumthin turn up i guess.heres the pics.

1st week of sch

right,so as said,this would be our last 1st day of sch.anyway,finally we r out of block flora n r having proper classes.the gelanggang berbumbung doesnt look as bad as expected,i think its actually quite nice.not much actually,just the usual perhimpunan n stuff.i notice the form 1's this year r way big in size,talk abt Woah.anyway, i bet they r dying to get our autographs like wut khong said in his blog.cos i remembered when i was in form 1,i was so intimadated by the seniors n like so respect them,oh yay,its our turn now.hand up the money kids!ugh jk,i noe i dont hv the 'requirements' to do that,i lack in popularity n in size.

2nd day wasnt much,well now we r no more joining Zeta for moral classes but Sigma instead,NOOO!no offence to sigma,not that i dont like u all,its just that i love the crazy environment when zeta is around,mayb cos i know most of them.well gd news is that at least we get to join wif them during PJ so thats cool

3rd day was AGM day.joined lots of stuff this year.im so excited for this year koku.i joined RELA.i wanted to join them since last year but in the end didnt.i dunno why but i just feel that they r so cool.i stayed back wif the others for the Chinese Lauguage Society AGM afternoon session,the form 1s r way naive.even though they r big.Woah again.like what does these kids eat nowadays???or am i not eating enough??uhh...

4th day,uhh,found out that Chinese classes from now on r gonna be on fridays,which means no cf from now on.haihz.anyway went out in the evening for dinner with my mom's family side.aunt n uncle from Ipoh,cousin whos back from USA who i havent seen since forever(hes already back in usa by the time i write this),cousin with her husband n kid n another aunty which is the kids grandmom.confused?uhh nvm..lets check out the pics.

anyway,as the octaves noe,i wanted to compose a song for the band cos i wanted to be 'original'.kinda sick just taking songs from singers n re-sing re-play it.

well,sad thing was i just couldnt even think of a single line,apa lagi compose,but yesterday when i was asked to write some christian lyrics for ludwig,i just accepted the 'task' even though i wasnt really confident,well.. testimony time!when i plopped on my bed to sleep,the lyrics suddenly just keep coming non stop in my head with a bit of simple melody,so i got up n wrote it all down so i wouldnt forget it,guess wat,when i started writing ,the words just kept flowing n i finished the whole song.yay!felt so happy,duh.kinda simple,but still proud n happy.Praise God for this.

talk abt me being person who doesnt like music at all last time.stopped organ when i was 6,stopped piano after learning for like 1 or 2 months in std 6 i think.and i got my music interest back when i started learning guitar and also my music interest n knowledge has really increased n improved in The Octaves.it really beats months of classses when u have experience.i really cant thank God enough for this band.

yay!2005 so rocks ok ,n i thot it would be my worst yr ever!!im really glad that God has blessed me so much with this band.it really turn my whole yr 180 degrees ok.cos as most of u know,im in arts stream,kappa,n most of my friends are all in science stream,ugh.anyway,just came back from eagle ranch in PD today.so just blog a bit abt it.

nice place for organizing camps n stuff.has obstacle courses n telematch stuff.lol thing was when we arrived there was a local tv crew shooting.well when we were at the pool they were shooting a scene of a girl in the water screaming or sumthin,kinda amusing watching it.haha.but didnt sempat to take cam thou,haihz,cos in the pool...

went sungai wang 2 days ago to buy new year clothes.finally settled all the shopping,1st it was for sch then this.yay finally its done.daniel was actually performing in stadium negara at 3pm today.well we passed by there around 1 something and i already spotted the crowd.wasnt just daniel,there were a few more local artist performing there btw.malas to see him already,got everything i wanted anyway,an autograph n a pic plus a bonus wif another autograph on the pic.so im gonna stop my craze for SPM next year duh,i dont want daniel to ruin my certificate.

its christmas eve...anyway in the morning i went for some nan yang siang pau singing competition thingi and daniel is the guest judge of it.big credits to jia jun for teling me abt it n selling me the ticket.thanks a lot.

this whole event rocks ok!!Nita,Farah,Paul n Trish was there playing futsal!!!talk abt major hyper-ness!!one of my 1st times to ever get a so called throat rash ok for screaming!!anyway i was a subsitute player for the Pinkies United!n we won 2nd place out of 8 teams!!talk abt shock-ness!!!i thought we would not even make it to the semi-finals seriously....

there were 8 teams which is Krees,Blue Hyppo,DFC(pinkies),MyNita,Farahnatics,Paul Moss,Jacsville and the Rojak team.call us over hyper ppl.thank you.if ur wondering wats Krees,they r something like the Blue Hyppo i think,MI fans gather in one forum or something like that.

we needed at least 2 wins to go semi-finals n we did,yay!

so it was us against Krees in the finals n we lost 5-0,but its ok,we got 2nd place at least!

sorry for taking so long to update...anyway...shu ning got us tickets to go watch another orchestra performance which is so called royal cos the Sultans will be there.the orchestra is the UM Symphony Orchestra btw,gv them credits for that,they r good.well there was a guest artiste there which is Zainal Abidin,kinda sound familiar,but dont recall where i heard him from.anyway,heres the pics.

genting trip...

lol now oni im updating after a week...anyway,went to genting on the 28th to the 30th.went wif my dad,bro,sis n grandma.went to pick up my grandma around 11 sumthin ,arrived in Gohtong Jaya to hv lunch then went to the resort we r suppose to stay which is Awana.didnt do much on the 1st day thou,just went round checking out the resort.

when we were 'exploring' the resort,near the tee off area,saw this sign,thot its funny.

after exploring,had dinner in the apartment,cos it had a kitchen.my dad cooked steamboat.so the stuff we brought in the car was like as if we were run-away imigrants.haihz forgot to take pics of it.

the next day oni we went to the theme park.we went up there by cable car.

bad point of the trip was almost all the rides i rode like roller coaster n stuff was waiting in line n sitting alone cos my dad,bro,sis n DUH my grandma wouldnt ride it wif me.kinda bored waiting in line alone but anyway its over.n i conquer even more fear that way,without someone else sitting next to me in the ride haha.

anyway after getting daniels autograph squashing away wif crazy grandmama's i went back n got ready to go for sharon's orchestra gig at civic hall.btw,sharon is the hot violin girl in my band,for those who dont know her.anyway it was from 8pm to 10pm n sharon said we were required to dress formal but when we got there like 90% of the ppl were in jeans ok,like slap me 10 times now,talk abt embarassment.

arrived there,found shu ning n the rest n got our seats n started yakking wif the others especially kok hong abt daniel duh.n kok hong wanted to act hot back by showing me pics of jay in 1 utama on 23 nov n the pic of the girl who melted,like puh lease,i so agree wif kok hong,like tell the girl to melt somewhere else,memalukan diri oni ok.

credits to hui yens mom for belanja-ing us the tickets which was RM20 each.

3 of them r playing the harmonica.sounded cun.the middle guy is some world champion n played the melody.the one on the left was a lady playing a bass connected to an amplifier wow.n the one on the right was playing a long harmonica which was the accompaniment or something.

there was a 20 minute break so we went n tapau sharon n sat on the far right cos we malas to go back to our seats or else like disturb ppl duh they were like abt start in 2 secs.

so today was daniels 1st album autograph session.anyway,my band,the octaves,performed on the exact same stage as daniel did on sunday,so octaves,be proud ppl n stop dissing him.anyway,the whole place was so crowded im not even sure whether i want to go for another daniel event again.

i got there at 12.30pm when the whole thing starts at 3pm.so i just sat there for 2 n a half hrs like an idiot.anyway the ppl there r so freakin snobbish n unfriendly,how i wish i can slap them but i didnt.

so shut up n be proud octaves.

anyway im so lazy to elaborate the whole thing,anyway ntg much also thou,just the usual screaming n stuff,so let the pics do the talking.

i noe its been like forever since nov 11 n now oni im updating.anyway its cos i thot i could get the pics from shu ning by burning cd from her comp n then her comp short circuit la this la that la,so i can oni get the video later.sorry ppl.haha.anyway got the pics from her blog again,duh.

anyway,start off ,all of us gathered at shu nings hse around like 8 sumthin.then around 10 sumthin when wyhow's mom n my dad came ,all of us took off to time square.
its been almost a year since the last time i went times square i think.anyway,went to look for the stage,it was on the LG floor and when we found it we had a big shock on how big the stage was.haha.i expected it to be smaller.anyway i dont hv a far view of it so heres an upclose view of it.

so after that ,we went off to eat lunch n was 'scheduled' to be back at the stage by 2.00pm so we can set up the mics n stuff.since no one would suggest wat to eat,we went to the food court on the highest floor where u can see the roller coaster tracks n screams of the crazy ppl on it.haha.gave shu ning a heart attack wei.lol.

after makan,was still hanging around the food court ,decided to take a pic there.

we screw up a bit cos of the singers mics.it was like on and off non stop,so like sekejap u can hear them sing sekejap u cant hear them sing,haha.but other than that it was all good...

the Lions club gave each of us this as a 'token'

after the performance,we decided to go watch a movie or sumthin.we pose this near the lifts,anyway there werent many ppl in times square that time so no one cared.haha.

we decided to watch a 3D movie since oni time square has it,none of us has watch a 3D movie before,and cos it was only 45 mintues for every show.so we decided on 'haunted castle' cos only that suit our time before heading back home.

us posing outside the IMAX theatre,there was this spot where we thot it was a nice place to take pics so we did.

the theatre was nice.5 times bigger than normal, we get to wear these 3D glasses,kinda cool the effects cos its like its coming to you especially like the ghosts or the bubbles,lol almost every1 was reaching their hand out 'trying' to touch the bubble.

but the movie was stupid,the plot n everything,oni the effects was nice,so it seems that all these movies was made for just the effects ,haha.

after that took a KTM back n went off to sp for the planetshakers concert.

thats all.i know this is a boring entry,im just trying to ringkas it as much as possible.anyway i really thanked God for giving us this opportunity to perform.n for all of us to improve.my music 'knowledge' n singing has improved a lot thru this band.yay!must be Gods plan.He rocks k.

hey im updating now ppl....anyway,as i said in my earlier post,my band,'The Octaves' got a gig to perform in times square.anyway updates on it,it starts around 2.30 pm the whole peace poster thing but we r performing around 3 sumthin like mayb 3.15pm,so hope our "fans" can make it.

cos of that,duh,we gotta practice like mad,its oni a week n half away since the exams were over,since maisarah n mark are having SPM,we got replacements,just for this one gig k no hard feelings.anyway,ever since shu ning the so called "manager" since she was the one who started the band,made all of us practice since wednesday untill today 6 days in a row since the day she came back form her LITTLE GENTING TRIP wif her cousins.

We r playing 2 songs,eternal flame n shao nian.Our so called "fans" would noe we perform this 2 songs b4,but hey shao nian wasnt really a band thing cos oni shu ning played,all of us just sang,plus sharon,lixian n siew li didnt join the talent competition.ya i noe,eternal flame AGAIN,we performed it in sumbangsih already last time n we r playing it again,1st reason cos we oni hv 1 week plus to practice,2nd is cos we r super confident of this song,not to brag k,but we practice this song for sumbangsih since the auditons for 3 MONTHS,so duh.oh no,bitching classes is so influencing me now,u can shut up now kok hong.

since exams over so decided to go sp to hang out.well this time was quite different cos i went wif a different 'gang',so it was eu yang,ling hui,kok hong,hui yen,xin yi,yee xian,shu ning,wyhow and wei yan.so far this is the most fun outing in sp cos it was my 1ST TIME ICE SKATING.ya i noe im a noob.yay!i oni fell 2 times n the 1st one was cos of shu ning.she dragged me down.rite.anyway i dont hv pics cos my dad took the digi cam.

we played bowling too earlier on.me,eu yang,ling hui and kok hong.SHU NING AND WYHOW came later to play but it was another lane.anyway i beat eu yang in bowling.muahahaha

anyway,after the ice skating we joined another gang which is lixian,wan xin,lee xin,chu luei and huey jen cos they wanted to buy *someones* present.wan xin recorded the chinese version of mimpi 'fei xiang' in her hp so she let me hear it cos i was kinda bored.yay.

oh ya there was this guy who really looked like daniel in the ice skating ring.like 80%.no im not being crazy.its so true.

anyway a tip for u ppl,if u ppl just cant decide where to eat at sp,go to long john silvers,cos the manager there called all of us leng lui n leng chais,i noe la its lame but its so funny.and she gave us free fries cos i think she kinda messed up kok hong n eu yangs order.

rite..exams again..but thats not the point why im writing this post thou....just wanna update my blog...anyway..today i saw another HOMO at the basketball court again...the last time was the one at the stairs i said in my earlier post.gosh mann is m'sia becoming countries like usa??ish mann keep seeing homo's...its creepy..anwyay this homo was super homo-ish.heres how the story goes..

i went to the basketball court around 4 sumthin cos i was bored.when i arrived i saw a few kids around my age n some smaller ones playing...rite...so anyway i joined in n play then i saw these 2 girls coming towards the court too.the homo one was the one wif short hair but since they r like 'together' so the other wif long hair oso considered homo la..anyway,the one wif short hair lets call her A n the other B.so,A was the one playing but B was just sitting around watching us.this A girl had a real lan ci look.anyway she didnt look cool i mean outside looks(sorry not thati judge ppl cos of their looks k its just cos these ppl r strangers thats why)she did not hv the 'gd looks' like the earlier homo i saw the other day.anyway,she was wearing a real long n big sleeveless t shirt like the ones the sch team wears.

heres the creepy part.it got real homo when i saw that both of them were sitting together on a bench n tokking.its so homo-ish.they acted like a cp.i donno whether they did 'anything' but i choose not to know.she(A) had the 'im in the sch team' look but doesnt play like one,ok fine im not bragging im all that k but she really doesnt play that well,cos she gets tired like so ezily,running a bit n throwing a few balls then she goes wif he 'gf' n sits down somewhere.mayb they r trying to 'get out' or sumthin in public.anyway i shouldnt be such a ke po chi.

i got 55 over 80 for add maths paper1.i calculated n i need 80 more marks out of 100 in paper 2 to get 75.i cant believe kah yew got 80 over 80.i feel so down n useless sumtimes.

so yesterday was mooncake festival...rite...anyway dunno y this yr like no mood to play candles n stuff hmmm...anyway went for swimming lessons in the morning yesterday then for 1st time water got stuck in right ear ever since i started taking lessons...so tried like forever to get it out but tak jadi....so in the end..went for karate grading like a half deaf person....then went to purple cane to makan dinner wif cousins....

then after that watch malaysian idol results show for the 1st time...n when jien announce that daniel was going into the finals...i jumped like crazy n finally after a whole day the water that was still stuck in my ear came out...i was so happy...in directly thanking daniel or else the water would still be in my ear...haha.. remember this:

i so wanna thank God for allowing to go for breakdancing lessons.i actually felt quite dissapointed ,i dunno mayb im paranoid,cos i got a feeling like God said no.anwyay,i tried praying for it and also said that this was my hearts desire,and then everything just went smoothly.so cun,after i found the place,i went to find out for their phone no,when are the lessons n stuff,n i really thank God that my parents allow me to go for it also without saying stuff like im gonna break a bone or sumthin,n also that it was just a small class,including me,there were 3 of us there in the class so at least i get personal attention.yay!

thank God for answering my prayer.not to brag but i think i have the talent for it.seems that i can just think of a random move straight away,but in guitar i cant even compose my own song,i only play whatever my teacher teaches,so malu-fying cos i just cant think of anything that goes along like mayb a C goes wif wat chord n all that..anyway at least i got some creativity side,mayb just not in music.

i just learned a move call a 6-step.working on it.yay!

Talent Competition by the Chinese Language Society of Smksu 2005

today was the talent competition organized by the chinese language society...well last yr me,ee xin,wan xin,hui yen,jing jing,jing xiuan,xin bei,teck weng n eu yang joined for drama n we won!so happy cos that was my 1st trophy wif the smksu badge on it...Praise the Lord!anyway this year me,wan xin,jing jing,debra,lee xin,teck,eu yang,hon lin n kah yew joined drama again but sadly we lost to the other group cos we oni wrote the dialogues yesterday n the script 2 or 3 days ago...anyway..

me drama group last yr ...in the middle is the judge..

i totally forgot take pics wif my drama group this yr so dont hv...anyway even though we lost im glad we had fun...yay!

my band 'the octaves' joined the group singing category cos there was no band category so it was me,shu ning,maisarah,mark n kok hong who joined cos siew li couldnt make it,sharon n lixian cant sing wif a violin on their shoulders(DUH)n PLUS oni a maximum of 5 ppl can join for group singing so it was like ..OK FINE..actually God's plan for us...hehe..there was oni 4 groups joining this category including us but who cares?WE WON 1ST PLACE!Praise the Lord !Hallelujah!ALL of the winning glory to GOD!im so giler siao happy...at least our practices n 3 MONTHS effort for sumbangsih has finally paid off wif sumthin...i forgot to take a pic of trophy..anywaywe will be getting soon oledi...yes sorry cos i SOUND PERASAN N BERLAGAK but i just cant help it cos we won!i've never expected in my whole life to win a singing competition even though it was a group!truly,ntg is impossible wif GOD!im so happy we hv such a faithful God to take care of us even though sumtimes we might forget Him...

after all the crazy rehearsals for sumbangsih n the actual sumbangsih...life's back to normal...wat a relieve...but i kinda miss it a bit...anyway..the youth exchange students which was organized by the Leo club came yesterday...n they r gonna be here for two weeks ...a few of them..all from japan...well there r 2 of them in my class..me 1st experience wif a youth exchanged student same class..quite cool..

i dunno wat to update these few days anyway i feel that we shud really praise God for blogs cos i made quite a few friends thru blogging which has been a true blessing in my life n i really thanked God for that n oso thru blogging i get to noe ppl more closer than last time like bheng,fiona,jen li n sum other ppl...thru blogging we can get to express ourselves,give testimonies,tokking abt our life n other stuff but oso most importantly u get to noe wat others r goin thru n hows their life cos sumtimes u r not really close to them in real life n oso thru blogging at least ppl will actually 'hear' out our probs n offer sum advices which is quite nice cos sumtimes u dont really tell ppl abt ur own personal probs but rather let it out on the net showing to the world,weird but thats wat almost every1 does n sumtimes including me...

so really thank n praise God for blog cos if i didnt start blogging i wouldnt hv known ann ee n her gang which is ann ee,chooi si,yanis,angeline,inez,jimmy,anashea,hua kit,aaron,joel,vinesh,benjamin,jen li,sue mae,kah weng,hanif,tanita,sara,julia,kenny,sung lin,chern hou,wyman,yuhan(form 2's),nicholas,hon sang,ken jiu,david,calson(form 1's) they r all kinda connected so thats how i noe them so i really praise God for all of them cos they really made my form 4 life not so sucky as i thot it would be...all part of God's plan...alrite!woohoo!chooi si n yanis party this saturday...brace urselves...

malam sumbangsih II rehearsal...

yesterday was malam sumbangsih rehearsal...so it was pratically the 1st time seeing every1 wearing their baju for that nite cos full-dress rehearsal anyway oso 1st time seeing the interact doing their dance so swt i didnt noe they were performing for malam sumbangsih cos they never cam for any audition or anythin anyway forget that they were quite gd...the music was nice...gd job..it was ws,nabilah,khe chun n the gang anyway...oso 1st time saw the fashion show ...lol so swt when jessica came out it was like so funny when every1 was like screaming n clapping hmmm more popular adi wor...lol..anyway...here's the guitar im suppose to use on malam sumbangsih ...using acoustic guitar..

anyway today was yanis b'day haih but tak sempat splash her cos had to go back for guitar classes n my guitar teacher told me to buy the grade 3 bk which was RM35!!??so expensive n there's like oni 9 scores in it...so swt anyway terpaksa buy it cos need it for exam so swt...anyway here's the pic..

decided to put it on cos of wat ps. daniel singh said when i went for the fga youth which was wei yan,li teng,py,angeline n inez punye youth n was tokking abt no sex before marriage n oso teens like us r facing this pressure n temptation..

God loves n forgives us on no matter watever sin we commit just as long as we repent n promise to never do it again.I truly praise God for delivering me from the worldly desires untill even songs from the hottest bands like linkin park n simple plan lyrics seems so meaningless .dont ever limit down God on wat he can do ,just surrender everything to him,if u cant give up on a*hem or wateva thing which is embarassing to admit we do ,just surrender it to Him n u will definately be amazed on wat God can do for n thru u...bcos i experienced that..no joke ok..lol..

n for the ppl who r down,dont give up cos Jesus the best guitarist,singer,dancer etc is in ur heart.WOW how great can that be!so never ever give up ppl just treat every problem as a test from God n live in this world as a foreigner n do not get too comfortable in this world for this is not our eternal home.if any1 feels u need sum1 to tok to u can tok to me,yes i mayb a joker all the time but im serious in such stuff n finally God rocks!

26 armed guards -- The importance and power of prayer

Here's a message that will bring you chills. Have you ever felt the urge to pray for someone and then just put it on a list and said, "I'll pray for them later?" Or has anyone ever called you and said, "I need you to pray for me, I have this need?"

Read the following story that was sent to me and may it change the way that you may think about prayer and also the way you pray. You will be blessed by this. A missionary on furlough told this true story while visiting his home church in Michigan....

"While serving at a small field hospital in Africa, every two weeks I traveled by bicycle through the jungle to a nearby city for supplies. This was a journey of two days and required camping overnight at the halfway point. On one of these journeys, I arrived in the city where I planned to collect money from a bank, purchase medicine and supplies, and then begin my two day journey back to the field hospital. Upon arrival in the city, I observed two men fighting, one of whom had been seriously injured. I treated him for his injuries and at the same time talked to him about the Lord. I then traveled two days, camping overnight, and arrived home without incident.

Two weeks later I repeated my journey. Upon arriving in the city, I was approached by the young man I had treated. He told me that he had known I carried money and medicines. He said, "Some friends and I followed you into the jungle, knowing you would camp overnight. We planned to kill you and take your money and drugs. But just as we were about to move into your camp, we saw that you were surrounded by 26 armed guards. At this I laughed and said that I was certainly all alone in that jungle campsite. The young man pressed the point, however, and said, No sir, I was not the only person to see the guards. My five friends also saw them, and we all counted them. It was because of those guards that we were afraid and left you alone.'"

At this point in the sermon (that I was delivering in Michigan), one of the men in the congregation jumped to his feet and interrupted the missionary and asked if he could tell him the exact day this happened. The missionary told the congregation the date, and the man who interrupted told him this story: "On the night of your incident in Africa, it was morning here, and I was preparing to go play golf. I was about to putt when I felt the urge to pray for you. In fact, the urging of the Lord was so strong, I called men in this church to meet with me here in the sanctuary to pray for you. Would all of those men who met with me on that day stand up?"

The men who had met together to pray that day stood up. The missionary wasn't concerned with who they were, he was too busy counting how many men he saw. There were 26. This story is an incredible example of how the Spirit of the Lord moves in mysterious ways. If you ever hear such prodding, go along with it. Nothing is ever hurt by prayer except the gates of hell.

I encourage you to forward this to as many people as you know. If we all take it to heart, we can turn this world toward God once again. As the above true story clearly illustrates, "with God all things are possible" and more importantly, how God hears and answers the prayers of the faithful. After you read this, please pass it on and give God thanks for the beautiful gift of your faith, for the powerful gift of prayer, and for the many miracles He works in your own daily life ... and then pass it on. "Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth."

The Purpose Driven Life

i started reading this book a few days ago....n its really nice...actually had the bk quite sometime ago but i didnt read it then last week i saw jade like reading it in class almost everyday...so i thought it could be nice so when i went back home i started to read it..

nice bk cos i feel it was like God speaking ot me through it...cos there was one chapter that says sumtimes we do not feel God's presence n we feel down ....that was exactly wat i felt b4 n after camp...i just dont feel God's presence...its not that im being action n all that its just that i dont feel it n that feeling is really depressing...its like as if God is a million miles away..but as Ps. also said that God sumtimes hide from us just as the bk "the purpose driven life" says...n it also says that every Christian will hv to go through it at least ONCE or mayb even several times...when i read it i was like so relieved...n it also says that it is actually God testing u whether u would continue to trust him...n i so do trust Him now cos all these was part of His plan for me to understand this...by using Jade to make me feel "inspired" to read the book...n also make me understand y i do not feel His presence ...it also says that God's presence is too profound that it cannot be measured by mere emotions...it means He is always there even if we r unaware or we do not feel it ...in the book pg 110 it says this ,"Yes,he wants you to sense His presence ,but He's more ocncerned that you TRUST him than that you FEEL him.Faith,not feelings,pleases God"

i was like so relieved when i know this...thank God...the book also says in pg 109 that when u r a baby Christian,God gives u a lot of comfirming emotions and often answers the most immature,self-centered prayers- so you'll know He exists.But as u grow in faith,he will wean u of these dependencies...lol yea this is so true cos once i prayed that i would get back my toy cockroach which i brought on april fool's day cos jee king n the others were playing wif it n didnt gv back to me so in my prayer i said sumthin like,"God if u r real show n prove it to me...for i want to trust in U fully of ur "realness" n if u can make me find or get back my cockroach in 1 minute i will believe n trust in U no matter wat n pray that i will remember this if my prayer is answered" ,yes i noe its childish but God answered my prayers suprisingly as they said in that book ..lol..to prove his existence cos right after i prayed i looked up n suddenly out of no where i saw shameen walking towards me n said ,"nah take back ur cockroach,dont let jee king they all see it again" or sumthin like dat ...i was like went crazy adi that time cos i was like so gila siao shocked that God would answer my such a childish prayer...really Praise God mann...lol so when i feel down of not feeling Him i will always try my best to praise Him by thinkin of all these "testimonies" so that i wont feel that depressed....

actually i oso dunno y i so semangated write ,ok fine,type this post ...hmm dunno y cos after i read it i just felt like i hv to type it in my blog...cos there might be sum other pppl goin thru the same thing as me but i wouldnt noe right....so anyway if any of u thinks im berlagak..fine go ahead n gossip abt me cos i really dont care anymore..i oso dunno y cos i used to care anyway y should i care wat men think..i better focus on SUM1 more important like God of what He thinks of me...rather than men...

ps.im not promoting the bk ok dont perasan lol but if u all wanna buy then go buy la,nice bk :D
